Thanks for the quick fix. App now connects to di2 and lets me change settings and update firmware successfully.

Bricked my DI2

Do not do a firmware update using this app under any circumstances. Use a PC if you need to update.

Bricked

Error while updating di2 wireless module and now no di2 Bluetooth to fix it and no shifting when riding bike. Had to bring to bike store for them to fix.

Bad software

fjwnmne

Japanese were never good at writing a software, this app is not expecting. All soft for their great electronics was written in Sillcon Valley, hope this app get some iOS deva who knows how to make it great

iPhone Support

SFJA

I can’t get through the process... my keyboard blocks me from accepting the passcode.

Terrible instructions, app is not intuitive

remarka

I downloaded the app to my iPhone but could not establish a Bluetooth connection. The bike does not show up on the Bluetooth devices list and there are no instructions anywhere for Bluetooth LE. Software is not comparable for MacBook, only PC. Was able to download app to my old PC with Windows 7, but the zip file would not execute. Dead in the water! Shimano, c’mon; you are better than this!!!!!

New problem now app won’t apply syncro shift

LaughingSaint

No matter what I do I can’t get syncro shift to turn on ??‍♂️

Don’t buy a Di2

DiTos

I’ve been a shimano fan for 20+ years and I’m extremely disappointed with this app and di2 overall.... shimano stick with mechanical if you want electric shifters go with other brand. Just both a full dura Ace di2... power meter, wheels and everything and this thing will not connect to the app.

Fix for brick?

Jlbrown23

I had the same issues others complained about with the shifting locking up when using the app. But at least for me, disconnecting the Bluetooth seemed to get everything back to normal with everything configured. The app itself works, but was a bit challenging to navigate. I’d rather use the full version, but there isn’t one for Macs.
