DO NOT USE!!!

Im_dg

This is THE WORST way to “secure” your accounts. I am about to lose a Facebook account that I’ve had for over 10 years because I was unable to get my duo back up onto my new phone… now when I am logging into my account on FB, it’s asking for a code that I cannot locate. Facebook will not send me a text code for some reason and my email to DUO basically said.. “Sorry about your luck, contact FB” ….. can’t get FB to respond back to anything. This is the most frustrating and ABSURD app I have EVER used and will make sure NO ONE uses this mess. I am so incredibly upset.

Awful

I’ve never known an app intended to make your life easier that makes it SO HARD! Do yourself a favor and use ANYTHING else. You’ll add years back to your life.

I am miserable using this app. I’d pay to not use it.

My school forced this upon me. I make $300 a month.. no hacker cares this much about me to make me have to authenticate literally twenty times a day. This is nothing but a nuisance to my life. I hate this so much. So so so much. This is the most unnecessary and stupid thing I have ever used and makes me feel less secure than a security question. I do NOT trust giving you all my information. I would NEVER use you but if I want to graduate college I guess I’ll have to. F you all.

Horrible

iTubeLover95

I only got this app because my university starting obligating all students to use it for two factor authentication. It is so inconvenient and unnecessary because there are already other ways to authenticate without having to use some third party app. Do us all a favor and shut this app down!

Great help

This is amazing app! Always keep you codes printed at home in a safe place! If you loose your phone you can still have the printed papers to recover you accounts. I really recommend this app.

I hate it

Kirsti A.

I only have this because I’m required too by my institution. The day after I downloaded it, I got hackers galore sending emails from my account, so many that my account was blocked from being used entirely. My school couldn’t do anything about it. This blocked me out of coursework for 6 months and I nearly failed because of it. It’s super frustrating that it continually logs me out of my devices, especially my phone, and when I sign in, it won’t even recognize that I’m using it on the same device that you’re sending the push too. That’s very redundant and frankly stupid in my opinion. If someone stole my phone and got into my stuff only for duo to authenticate my phone from itself is stupid. This app frustrates me more than any other and I cannot wait to get rid of it.

Terrible

KYcart28

My school choosing to use this two factor authentification was the worst possible decision. It is such a hassle to have to use multiple devices to sign in rather than enter a separate passcode + it is super hard to switch devices

Most annoying part of my day

kaitlynn1347

We were forced to get duo for our college log in for our emails and our courses. This is by far the most annoying part of my day. I have decided on several occasions that it is quite frankly not worth it to log in just to check for an email because of all the hoops you have to jump through Whatever you do, don’t ever get a new phone. My account has been disabled, and since it’s through my school, I am having a hard time getting it reactivated. This just gives me more hoops to jump through every time I want to check my email.

Doesn’t allow new devices

shvdryijvdw

I got a new phone and can’t get into my schoolwork because the app does not have any way to add a new device ?
