One fatal(ish) flaw

BILLIKEN1358852388437

For me, 5/5 stars for supporting great shows that make me laugh. However, a star is removed because when clicking a new show that I have never watched, it starts at the last episode to have been produced, not the start of the show...oops. Make it start from the beginning, or at the show I last watched, and it will get 5/5 stars.

No way to stream to tv

Who just watches stuff on their phone all the time? Wanted to try out the service and found there was no Apple TV app, no Samsung app, and no roku app... are you guys first year marketing students? You should have had this out before you began your promotional campaign. Once you loose a first time viewer over availability issues, you pretty much loose them forever... as for me, I cancelled my 7 day trial on day 1 because I was hoping to watch this with my partner on an actual TV and not huddled around a stupid phone... I caught a couple episodes of your shows on twitch a few months back and I can’t believe you’re still so behind the ball on streaming client support... this isn’t new tech ya know...

Love the shows, but not the app

Rinibutthatstakensoyeah

The shows on Dropout are funny, engaging, and are a great way for me to relax after a long say of work. While I love the content they put out, I’ve been realizing its been difficult to open up the app because I just dislike it’s setup so much. Some of those things include: -Being unable to exit the app and have your video keep playing (I did this a lot with Fantasy High on youtube, and wanted to have the ability on here since I can listen to the series almost like a podcast at times when I’m working) -the user profiles and not being able to see the any of the shows you’ve watched/your watch history -the main page top category scroll can only go left, so if you want to go back from “comics” to “originals”, you'd have to cycle through all the options where you should be able to scroll back (a small inconvenience I know, but one that my friends have noticed as well and I’d thought I’d put on here) -It’s difficult to search up shows if you don’t know the exact name of it, and when you do, sometimes the search doesn’t show up with it either way -the rewind feature lags for an extremely long time before it plays it back. This was an issue when I was watching fantasy high and wanted to re-hear what they had just said without moving on in the story and spoiling the narrative Overall, these are small inconveniences that wouldn't necessarily make me unsubscribe to the service. That being said, theres a lot of mildly inconvenient issues within the app that make me less inclined to open it when I do want to watch shows on there. I also understand that it’s a relatively new app and I’m comparing it to the platforms of giants like youtube and netflix, but It is a streaming platform I do have to pay for, and these are small issues that make the service just a little bit harder to use than other apps. I do still love the shows on the app, just the app has some small issues that have built up for me.

Fantastic content, easy to use app

Zoozywoo

I’ve always loved college humor’s YouTube videos, so I’m really glad I subscribed to dropout! Dropout’s Lonely and Horny is basically the rom com version of Jake and Amir, and it’s equally as hilarious. The app is easy to navigate and has a wide range of content. New episodes, series, and comics are added regularly. The only complaint I have is that the app loads a little bit slower than others.

Great shows, but app barely works

dafqwerty

Tried watching several shows, but after watching a series for the first time and trying to come back to it nothing will load. Chromecast doesn’t work. Would not recommend the subscription since you are just throwing away money for content you can’t get to.

Love it! Could use a save show feature

AlyC42

I love the content! I’ve been a big fan of college humor for a long time. The only thing I have to say would be the app needs a way to favorite shows, or at least keep a list of shows that you watch. Though it’s entirely possible the feature is there and I’m just missing it somehow.

Great Work!

Really love Dropout and everything that comes out of CollegeHumor! I highly recommend!

Love this service!

If you like any of College Humor’s content you need this subscription. It has tons of material and it’s all released early on here, plus you get to join the awesome discord server where the cast spends a lot of time chatting and creating a fun, cool environment. I wish the platform was a bit easier to navigate but other than that I have no complaints. Keep up the great work!

Great Content! Weird Transactions...

Amethyst Lion

So I got this app a while ago and I was look through my transactions one of them was for a 48 dollar charge, I go back to the app my 7 day free trial is over I am charged the money and I don’t have an active subscription. I’m a little confused and I don’t wanna to anything hasty.

Amazing content!!

As someone who has been watching collegehumor off and on for the past few years, I can say I am amazed with the quality content on Dropout. I love dimension20 (fantasy high), um actually, and total forgiveness! I’m still exploring the content available, but so far it’s been great. As for the interface, I watch on my phone and my laptop. Both have been working great, and I can tell steps are being made to improve the interface and make it easier to use even in the short time I’ve been watching. The discord is a blast, and I’m happy to support unique, original shows!
