Great sound

Jozev

I stumbled upon this synth. What a pleasant surprise. Nice features and a simple but powerful system. Get it!

Battery Drain

TS321

This app drained my battery like crazy. It would go from 100% to 60% in 2 hours, even when it wasn't in use. I know I could close it and maybe that would have helped but I just deleted it because I don't want to deal with that.

Wanted to get more into sound design, this is my go-to app! Keep being awesome :)

Arguably the most analog-sounding iOS synth!

Korg Fan

I don't care if it might take up CPU. This thing's interface and sound are so good and complimentary that it truly derserves five stars! I still wonder why the aftertouch feature doesn't work on my CME XKey 37, but it's great. There is no need to complain abot that 30 second trial. You can always reinstall the app to keep trying it out. This is one of my favorite iOS synth apps along with Cassini, iWavestation, and Chordion. The oscillators, modulation, sync, ring mod, filter, filter fm, and velocity features are absolutely fantastic! I don't know what it can emulate, but it can probably sound like anything you want. I hope it will have AU support so I can use multiple instances on Cubasis

Don't forget to actively close the app or disable background play

michaelgwagner

While I like the general idea and execution, this app is unbelievable power hungry. On my iPhone it consumed about 55% of the battery even when _not_ in use at all. It got to the point where it would heat up the device, so I decided to delete the app. If you want to use it don't forget to actively close it immediately after you're done. Edit: I updated the review based on the developer's feedback. There actually is a setting to disable backgroud play but it is about as hidden as it can get. After disabling it the app behaves as expected. What is left that prevents me from giving it 5 stars are minor annoyances. The interface is a bit fiddly on the small screen and the app remains extremely power hungry when in use. The choice to have background play activated by default is a bit strange given the apps power needs and the fact that background play is really only useful when you use the app with a midi controller.

Cool, but one huge issue

Elixir Walls

This is a pretty cool app so far, I'll have to tinker around with it a bit more to get a better feel for it. However, I've noticed a big input delay ever since starting the app up. It takes about half a second to play a note whenever I press a key down and it's really annoying... I've messed with delay, tempo, etc. and nothing helps. How can this be fixed?

Love but fix my knob!

Kross Ruiz

Love the app when it works, but it would be sooooo great if MIDI learn worked 100% of the time with my iRig Keys 25 MIDI controller. I can change octaves without fail with the two buttons on my controller, but when I try and map the physical knob to a specific slider or knob in DRC, half the time it doesn't work. I tap MIDI learn, I pick the knob/slider in DRC, I send input through the physical knob, N/A turns into a 7 and I know the controller is receiving input, and yet when I exit out turning my physical knob doesn't turn the virtual knob or slider, and I know it works with the slider because it's worked in the past with the program. But when MIDI learn maps I LOVE this app! Check it out, devs, love love love the app ❤️
