Excellent

Liquidkaos02

The UI is beautiful and the app is well executed to give anyone a tool for making music. Highly recommend.

Great app!

XLil Rova

Great app especially if you're trying to get into synths, all what you'd expect from a standard analog synthesizer you can adjust all the standard parameters, easy and fun to use.

Love it!

Nofarmer

The uncluttered interface makes this rich synth a joy to use! I love that it's universal. One of my most used synths.

Love DRC's Philosophy!

These guys are smart and understand what pro and semi-pro musicians want. DRC fills a void in the synth app market in being the first elegantly portable sound engine. I can transfer a preset that I create on the iPad to my iPhone and (I believe) can also load it up in the VST/AU version (although I have yet to purchase that). Sounds should not be restricted to a machine and Imaginando gets that. Not to mention, DRC has a unique character and can sound very gritty and analog if you know what you're doing. My only wish is for DRC to be usable as an iOS audio unit (AU3) -- and hopefully one day they will consider this.

I love the app but

Cgadsby

I came into this as a novice leve bedroom artist and for the life of me I can't figure out how to record.

Love it!

Mr Trollope

You can make really decent things with this one

Not a free app

Cr4zybilly

This seems like a ton of fun, and a really cool synth, but it's absolutely not free like its pitching itself. You can use it for about 20 minutes, being interrupted every 5 minutes or so. After the 20 minutes, you have to pay $10 to continue using it. Seems like a great synth, but the dishonest advertising turns my stomach. If you're into being lied to and manipulated, this might be the app for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Fantastic Sound! A tad glitchy on older 30-pin devices

Nitpick Pete

Oh yeah, it sounds big. Very nice. However there are lots of pops and sound drop-outs on my old iPad2. Most newer synth apps do this, too so I'm way past due for an upgrade. Edit: Finally upgraded. Got TONS of new synths pianos and audio goodies to dive into, but this is the synth that has most of my attention right now. Sounds sooooo good and is so easy to program. Well done.

One of the true Essential iOS synth apps

JRSIV1975

I've had DRC for awhile now, a year or more, and it continues to be a Synth I go back to again and again for textures, lead tones and if I need something to just cause aural chaos. The developers are class acts, anytime I've had a question or needed support they respond quickly. Highly recommended.

Great synth that needs IAA

umami

Some fantastic sounds in here, but does not seem to support IAA, so routing inside apps like AUM must be done via MIDI. Hopefully that gets updated soon!
