I bought this for the memories and the artwork. Unfortunately, I can't see the art due to the terrible placement of the controls, not to mention the fact that they are unresponsive 99% of the time! So you have to stay focused on the control pad and that takes away from the action, which is the reason for playing any game! I can't even follow the story because of that! I was going to buy Space Ace also, but now, NO EFF'n WAY! I've donated $5 bucks for one this abortion! Not gonna get me twice! I guess I should have the reviews because I have the same problems as everyone describes!?! A real disappointment. I wanted this to be an awesome game!

I giving 3 1/2 stars. Game is great. Nostalgia ... Fantastic. CONTROLS STINK. Takes away from experience. ADD iCade SUPPORT PLEASE !!! Shut all these youngsters up. Show Em how we did it in the eighties!!! The Golden Age !
Controls very lacking

As many reviews indicate, the controls are severely lacking in this game. However, it is still the same game from the 80s. If good iCade support were added this game would be an instant five-star.

This game is fun in all the first time you play it, but after you beat it once, your never gonna use it again most likely. It has absolutely no replay value and really makes you want to have your money back.

Love the concept of having this game. But the controls are just horrible. You have to watch the controls to see when it indicates. Then the margin for error is really really thin. Even if you make the "correct" indicated move many times the game kills you anyhow. Make the controls more effective then 5 stars. As is, greatly reduces the fun factor.
No sound anymore!!!!

Love this game!!! Never seen it this clear in my life. But there's no sound!!!!!!!:-( please somebody fix the sound? I would give it five stars but had to give it three. The sounds are 1/2 the success of the game.

This was an incredibly difficult but fun game. I really love the nostalgic factor about it. Not a bad game not bad at all. Addicting for sure!
