I don't think I'll ever play this again

1concernedfan

I got so far in the beginning of the game until there was a save bug and I had to start further back. What a disappointment!

SE's inconsistent language support

Metachronism

Best: games that let you choose the language in-game, and support the original Japanese Next best: games that run in Japanese when ios is set to Japanese Worst: no support for Japanese whatsoever, which is what they chose to do for the DQ series. It's unfortunate because I'd buy them all if they picked either of the two above.

Language

so cute!

Good Game, but how to choose traditional Chinese? There is no language selection

Great Blast to the Past

Greygoose1402

Works perfectly on the iPhone. The game was as fun as I remembered it but I was a lot more efficient this time around. Great for a quick download and can finish in in a long weekend. Cheers.

Great on IPhone XR!

Dragon quest 1-3 runs and looks great on iPhone XR. Please update DQ 4-6 to take advantage of the bigger screens

Dragon Quest: the real quest... was love.

Stev Ray Katon

A Dragon goes on a quest to find the 4 crystals of everlasting power. He is joined by his trusty side kick Garret, and woman dragon lover Aris. This game completely redefined farming simulators back in 2001 when it was released, and now everybody is just one heated thumb tap away from its bottomless genius. A little bit of history: Bungee themselves spear headed this genius project with EA’s support back when the Turbo Graphix 16 was all the rage. Bill Gates himself spent all night crying when it was released. His precious Apple 64 could never compete with a DRAGON! He was ruined and no one ever heard of him again. Anyways this is a flawless Xbox port.

A wonderful time.

I love the Dragon Quest series, but because I don’t own the older consoles I’ve only been able to play DQ 8 and 11 on my own. Bought this on a whim and while it didn’t take me long to beat I’m really happy I finally got to play the original dragon quest game, even if it’s a remastered port. Hooray for Dragon Quest!
