Not the Complete Game!

Pleas fix

Paid $19.99 for Dragon Quest 8. Where is the voice acting? Description says it’s the complete game, well it’s not. I bought this for my 3.5 year old who loves rpgs and I bought this expecting the game as advertised! I’m not sure why you would sell the game without the voices as an option. It’s an easy fix and just seems lazy that the voice acting in the languages previously available are not now available.

The English dub of this was always ruined emersion for me. It’s much better when you get to read dialogue in your head.

Got my XS Max today, and while I’m not surprised to see that DQ8 still runs at the same juddery 20-or-less FPS that it does on my 6S (since it also ran about as well on my old iPhone 5), I do think it’s criminal that such a great game has such a poor iOS port. Play it on PS2 or 3DS instead, or hold out for a possible PC or Switch port.

Will there ever be an update to have the other characters added? The game is good, but for 20 bucks updates would be nice.

This is mostly in regards to how S.E. basically ignores their games after three months. It needs an update to at least support iPhone X, and to fix the issue it’s had almost since launch with iCloud saves. I haven’t been able to play it to completion because I lose my save data at some point. The games amazing, it just needs some fixing.

Cloud saves don’t work, devs abandoned this app

Cloud saves would make a world of difference and they used to work until the last update. The feature has not worked since. Port is decent although there are no voices and the controls can get frustrating as well as the inability to play landscape. Buy a better port on a different console/device, this is not worth the money since they don’t support the app any longer and won’t resolve the bugs they introduced with their last update. Pretty disappointing.

I was enjoyinh this game and made much progress! However I deleted the game to do an update thinking I could come back to it. But now all my progress is lost because Cloud Save is not working. Please fix this!

Please update with the 3ds added content and full orchestral soundtrack. Also some other quAlity of life additions would be helpful and really appreciated! A speed up feature and perhaps even being able to start the game from a point well into the game for veteran players could be a fun way to get interest up. We love Dragon Quest here in the US! Please support international markets and bring more DQ here!!!

Please fix iCloud function. It’s very disappointing. All other cloud saves work on all other square games. When you get a new device you cannot keep playing from where you are. You would have to start over. And after having to pay a good price for the game that is not right at all.
