Amazing

Cool App

gatorblair

When I save the selfie video combo, it saves it as 2 separate videos instead of one. Will there be an upgrade to fix this! Thanks.

Why Did I buy Filmic Pro?

Gitmo dog

After apples keynote on the Iphone 11 and the dual record feature, stupid me went out to buy filmic pro. “ Oh btw dual record isnt available yet....” Shoot oh well, itll be released in the future.... FOR FREE Thanks!

Selfie cam upside down

jb8722

Just downloaded this after watching a YouTuber use it at Disneyland. Looks awesome, but when I tested it out the footage when saved shows the selfie cam is upside down. How do you fix that?

Proof of concept only

Until the videos can be saved to my camera roll or exported, they’re not much use. Thus, this app doesn’t really have any use other than as a proof of concept.

Complicated

Daniel Springer (iOS Dev)

A great idea, a not so great execution. Let me elaborate... - Can’t export video. Buttons are disabled. Please add long press, or swipe right on video to share. (Ok now I figured out how to export, please make it easier). - It’s hard to navigate around. I also don’t understand what mode I am in. There seem to be 2 PIP, and one creates 2 videos, and one creates 1, but it doesn’t clearly show which does which. There should be a drop down, or menu of some sort, instead of just tapping again and again, barely understanding what the selected mode is, and not being able to go one mode back, or understand how many there are. There’s just no UX. It’s a cool app but really hard to use. - The confirm button is hard to see against the background. - Back video is flipped upside down for some reason, one of the times I recorded (iPhone XR). - Some ideas: Please add: Time lapse, SlowMo, Square ratio (meaning half a square per feed in side by side), zooming in/out, swapping the side by side feeds so the top is on bottom and viceversa, and same for Left and Right. A crazy idea: video calls, where one can share with the other a double feed. Thank you! As an iOS Developer, I know how much work it takes, and I want you to please take this review as a message that I like and care about this project, not that I despise it, and want it to be the best it can be, and therefore I’m sharing how I think that can be done. Thanks, Daniel Springer Gonna check out the update, but none of my issues were mentioned in the update description, so...anyone have some response? ? EDIT: gonna see if the upside down happens again and will check if orientation is locked when it does happen. I would suggest making the icons clearer - perhaps the name of the mode should always show, not just when changing mode. Thanks, Daniel Springer

Looks promising

Hopefully this can be added into Filmic Pro soon and not remain a stand-alone app. The 50/50 mode could be made more flexible if we could move the line to adjust the split | / \ — or even some basic masking. Of course this could be done in post but some basic features combining the video feeds could be useful.

Great App. Only one request.

I love filmic products and this is another great app. The only thing I would ask for is the ability to digitally zoom inside the pip window. That would be useful for people recording athletic training where the first camera is recording an athlete and you want the second camera to zoom in on the goal / target the athlete is aiming at.

Another bug

mkrigsman

If zoom is enabled in accessibility settings the app sometimes crashes when you attempt to set the cameras.

5 stars

I love this, it’s so perfect! I didn’t have any problems with it, and I love the sharpness of the videos it captures. I don’t have a nice camera, and I’m always taking videos of things I do. It’s much easier with this app! Five stars! I’m gonna show this to my friends, and I highly recommend it!
