THE CONTROLS ARE GARBAGE NOW! WHEN YOU SLIGHTLY MOVE YOUR THUMB OFF THE IPAD SCREEN IT JUST COMPLETELY STOPS ALL FOWARD/SIDE MOVEMENT! ITS VERY BUGGY AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED CUZ WHEN YOU HAVE HOARDS OF MONSTERS THIS GETS REALLY FRUSTRATING AT TIMES! MAKE IT LIKE OLD CONTROLS WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT GAME 7 YEARS AGO.

This port is alright it’s been fixed to have 60fps and the controls are a little bit wonky at first but once you get the hang of it,it’s definitely fun

I was excited to see that doom was back up in the App Store because I bought it years ago, however once I downloaded it and tried to boot it up it won’t even let me go past the opening screen. It just crashes. I’m a little upset because I do not understand why it’s happening. Sometimes I can get to the level select, but as I hit start level it instantly crashes.

You guys wiffed it with the updates. The buttons were fine, because each button press was definite; I’m getting that function I pressed for. This screen sectioning doesnt work too well : pressing middle screen for activating doors and switches will often times trigger the weapon to go off, which means most of the time having to switch to a low power weapon in hopes that I don’t waste valuable ammo (and possibly not murder Doom Guy with rocket blast). Thanks! What a whiff!

Make it happen Bethesda But I love this game, it’s clean looking, and isn’t less violet, but I would love to be able to make my own Addons!

This is the Doom you remember, there’s no doubt about that, but the controls are ruined as of the re-release. The only thing I would ask is that you add an option to switch back to the original mobile release controls and/or add gyroscope/3D touch controls to make playing it more bearable.

It’s basically twin stick controls. Not nearly as bad as others make it out to be. Glad I downloaded.
