Generally I like it.

Manic Bobo

This is a well thought out, well designed app. The process of using it takes a bit of getting used to. I used to have post it notes all over my desk, and sort through them to do what was next. Some with a deadline, some without. This has totally replaced that mess across the top of my desk blotter, to the point co-workers coming into my office and seeing no post its ask: ”you done with everything?”. And now my notes are with me when I leave the office.

Great App!

Truly unique way of organizing tasks and reminders. Simple to use. Visually appealing. Rather than becoming overwhelmed bu a long list of tasks or wasting time micro-organizing items only to forget about them, each ‘do’ is on its own card. Anyone with attention deficits or a tendency to procrastinate should give this a try.

Great simplicity, some quirks

Drumrocker365

This app is simple, and that's what I love about it. The only really annoying thing, and the reason I've taken a star away, is the snooze feature is highly unintuitive. It should ask you how long you want to snooze for instead of automatically forcing it by a day.

A little ways to go

I really like the app. I enjoy using it more on my iPad than on my phone as I also get to see the additional calendar. The design is beautiful, which makes using the app even more enjoyable. That being said, it still needs some work. I’d really like to be able to label my cards. I’d like to be able to have cards for work, home, errands, etc. Just something as simple as a dot in the corner that is color coordinated to the task I set it to be. Having something like that would allow me to more easily see at a glance what I need to tackle today and what I can snooze. It’d be great to see the calendar on the iPhone version. Even better if the calendar reflected labeled cards. Finally, sometimes I find toggling to the second page to be a bit odd. I understand that I’ve snoozed my two tasks for today until tomorrow, but having one page dedicated to “All Clear” and “+ add a new reminder below” seems a bit odd to me. I keep looking for a way to scroll past those prompts and see the items I’ve snoozed for tomorrow. Just a thought. I really do love the app. I want to use it for more things. The checklist functionality is a must have for me. I’d LOVE to be able to have the labels. It’d help me use it more in my work rather than just an errand task manager.

Seems okay so far

Capt. of Starship Earth

Haven’t had the time to really explore all of the options yet. I did see that there is no way to really sort a checklist. Would be awesome, especially in the circumstance of groceries, to be able to put items in order.

So close but so far away

spencerloveless

It’s got a great start but too buggy to function. Also most features and interactivity just doesn’t make sense. For example, to simply flip through tasks it will automatically snooze then having to go back to another interface to un-snooze the task card. Also there is an option to type out notes which then appears on the card but when creating a checklist you have to dive deeper into the card each time. It would be nice if these interactions work the same.

Great App Ugly Color

puritan

Really love everything about this app. It’s easy to use and works as advertised. Love that it syncs with my Mac. The ONLY reason I’m giving four stars is the super ugly color of the app. I would love to be able to customize the color. Please, give us some choices!

Doo over doing well

jacqperr

A great high-level snooze-master procrastinator’s dream effort. Works well augmenting other task-management tools: I use Reminders for location based reminders and to be quick (once Doo implements Siri shortcuts, that’ll help), Things for detail oriented tasking, and Doo for high-level pestering. Nice app; needs more massaging and shaping to keep on top of its niche :)

Beautiful interface but...

theyoonius

The reason for 3 stars is because I truly wanted this app to work in terms of experience. And I paid $4.99. It has a beautiful UI which makes it pleasing and enjoyable to use. I’ve used other reminders on the market, but nothing balances craft and simplicity like Doo. With that said, I find it very odd that by default it lands me to a blank view. It would be more intuitive if I could see the “All Reminders” view instead to give me context on what’s coming up and what I’ve missed in one place. And secondly, I can’t see the details or notes of an upcoming event unless I tap on edit. What the heck is that nonsense? Why can’t the card expand when I tap on it to reveal my notes? I’m comparing this to iOS’ default reminder app. Hate the interface but functions properly. Please fix the experience. It’s almost there. ALMOST FOR GOODNESS SAKE! I’ve been searching and using a lot of reminder apps as I depend on them for my daily tasks. Doo is the closest to what I need.

Pretty good - but missing something

Nooowayjose

Like the other reviews stated, it’s a decent app, but it’s missing something. Personally I would like to set my custom snooze time intervals and set that customized amount as a default (rather than the force bypass - don’t get me wrong I enjoy the force bypass, but rather have that availability for default snooze times). I feel like the developer could add a “deck”/“stack” feature that groups similar cards together inside the main stack of cards (kind of like a sub folder inside the main folder). This would help organize my cards that have similar qualities/functions/purpose. For example, I walk my dog/feed/refill his bowl/etc everyday. Having these similar cards grouped together like a deck of cards would be amazing! I know I could always use the checklist feature to divide these tasks inside one card, but I prefer to use a separate card for each task to visualize everything. It could also help a lot when achieving a series of items at once (example: Going for a walk, record walk, record weight, write in journal). I bought this because I know this app has potential. Although I’m waiting to see what other features are added before jumping on to the MacOS version.
