Good data, mediocre experience

This app could be so much better. The experience is worse than the desktop web site. The app should not make me log in every single day, it's an app on my phone not a shared computer in a coffee shop.

Discogs is the go to app for music!

I have to wonder what I would have done if I never found Discogs! Its my number 1 source for info on music and number 1 for cataloging my vinyl collection. Whenever I buy vinyl I first go to Discogs app and search it out, then see if I'm getting a bootleg or different regional release and everything I need to know is there, plus they have a Marketplace which I trust more than EBay or Amazon. I've bought many a vinyl there and have never had a problem! This app and Discogs in general is highly recommended for Music collectors or those wishing to catalog their collections and buyers as well!

Needs work

I like the app. Only problem is that you have to choose from their database and 9 times out of 10 there is incorrect information. I wish there could be a place where we can upload our photos and manually add our information to our collection adds since vinyl heads are very meticulous.

A must have for any collector!

I've used discogs.com for over a year now. And I just finally have a phone that can run this app! They're a great way to track down hard to find albums all over the world. You can also highlight albums to put in your "wanted" list, and will be notified when one is listed for sale, as well as put albums in your "owned" list because you're a collector and like to see what you have at all times ? I hope you check your local record stores first before you shop online, support your local shops before you order from across the world! But if your local shop doesn't have it, check discogs!!!

The best way to catalog your collection

While the app (and the site) can be vastly improved, this is still the best way to catalog your music collection.

Almost great but...

The app doesn't allow to view credits of an artist by year. If I want to look at what else a writer or engineer has worked on, I would love to be able to do that within the app.

Love Discogs database and now I can access it easily. Easy way to lookup records when I'm out and also compare them to my collection to see what I have. They have a barcode scanner too that comes in handy for new records. Recommended for anyone into vinyl and crate digging.

Keep improving

This app is way better than the one I first started using. If the barcode scan was more accurate it would make my life so much easier. Still use this app almost every day though

Collection management app for vinyl lovers and music geeks!

eetzie

A great app for vinyl collectors, music lovers, and DJs! It's not quite as fully featured as the Discogs website, but has the Discogs collection tools you need on-the-go. The barcode scanner works great for releases that have a barcode!

I wish I could add friends on the app

The app is great but not being able to see other profiles on the app makes the experience less enjoyable. I like being able to see what the value of the records are in my wishlist and collection but it would be even better if I could see the profiles and collections of other collectors.
