Cataloging

Muzicman58

I love that I am able to catalogue all of my records, although I am very OCD about how they are organized. It would be great if I could customize how everything was sorted to match how it is in my collection (i.e. in my collection I have David Bowie under B but the app sorts it under D).

Crapplication

ShaneSLC

I signed up for Discogs, downloaded this app. The app only does certain functions, for others it redirects to their website. Why?! The first orders I submitted didn't notify me correctly so they were cancelled. Now my rating is low so I can't buy half the albums I want! No one lost money, at the most they lost some time but I'm screwed. I'm quitting the whole site because of this. Big thumbs down, Discogs!

Just use the mobile site

destroytheheart

Lacking in features, unintuitive navigation, keeps showing things long deleted from your want list, the list goes on. Great site, crap app.

Why is iOS app so terrible

i r joe

I just looked at the Discogs app on my friend’s android device and it has about twice the amount of functionality as the iPhone app. Way more powerful of a mobile tool. Why is it so bad on iOS?

Great

Pretty cool

Love it.

Just want the collections and wishlists to be public. Be more social. Thanks! --just read some other reviews-- Yes! I would also like to be able to share my collection/wishlist (at the very least) Also, needs subfolders/sublists - I want to categorize my wantlist by genre (so it's organized like a record store for easy shopping experiences)

Collection management app for vinyl lovers and music geeks!

A great app for vinyl collectors, music lovers, and DJs! It's not quite as fully featured as the Discogs website, but has the Discogs collection tools you need on-the-go. The barcode scanner works great for releases that have a barcode! You can now buy in the app and access record store info via the VinylHub integration.

App needs some tweaking

The lists I have are not in alphabetical order even though the list is supposedly displayed that way. I would think that will be an easy fix for the developers.

The new update is just what we’ve been looking for!

It was always a pain to use the Discogs app due to its limited functionality. For example, you could browse on the app, but if you wanted to use any marketplace purchasing features, you were redirected to the site. Now, you can buy directly from the marketplace with the app. It works a lot like amazon and feels fluid. I’m also a huge fan of the store locator feature. I guess I can ditch The Vinyl District now!
