Very poor

Jeffstroutman

Clunky, bug-ridden app that never seems to get better with any update (when they even bother) You’d be much better off just buying from Amazon or a better third-party site like Musicstack. Discogs won’t even help you when one of their sellers rips you off or incorrectly lists/grades an item. Expect nothing but trouble from their “customer service” team.

nice app, need seller features

bl8ms

i would love to use this app but its lacking any seller features. if i could add an lp to my seller inventory that would be rad! using mobile web instead for now, which is slow and cumbersome. would be a 5 star app if i could use it to sell items, hope its on the way!

Ok... but needs several bug fixes.

Love Discogs - use it all the time. The app is “alright” but has many bugs that keep me from using it as much as I’d like. 1. Unlike other apps that remember your login, this one makes me log in every single time. 2. When I log in, it apparently thinks it is for the first time ever, because it gives me tips on how to use my wanted, and collection tabs with pop ups. I don’t need this information - and certainly not every time I log in. To make things worse, the pop ups “hang” - not disappearing for at least a minute or two, and nothing you do will make them disappear. You just have to be patient and wait. Eventually they go away... 3. Searches for artist releases don’t seem to go chronologically - it just seems random. So, looking for an earlier pressing of a release is a challenge. 4. Purchases make you go to a web browser. Where you have to log in AGAIN. ? Normally these issues make me go to the website instead. I’d like to use this more, but it’s just frustrating a lot of the time....

Works well, once you’re logged in.

The app works well, but it makes me log in every few days. Since the integrated browser doesn’t use the system browser, there’s no ability to use a (share sheet-integrated) password manager either. For that reason, I find myself just switching to using discogs.com in the browser instead. At least that remembers that I’m logged in.

Two big problems

I love discogs the app is pretty well designed beside having to go to the brower for certain things every now and then but my biggest issue is the notifications I mostly use the discogs app I rarely use a laptop so I miss messages from sellers cause of time zone difference and etc I'm not always checking in other words I'd live status updates on orders like shipping rates confirmed by seller, you've been given a refund and etc you get my point this app needs it trust me also I don't seem to find anyway of easily messaging sellers without typing their name call me lazy but I'd much rather click the sellers name and hit a button "message seller" messaging is already in the app why no button? And a side thing I think not only the app but discogs as a whole needs a way of sending pictures of the vinyls to people so I know the real condition correct these and you got 5 stars from me ???

Love it but could love it more

I love this app, however I would like to find and follow my friends and see their collections. I’d like to be able to search users and not just records.

Keep getting logged out

_OldMoney

Not a dealbreaker, but definitely annoying that every other day I have to log back into the app. Hopefully this gets resolved in the next update.

I love this app and site but..

The app always has been slow to recognize and scan barcodes in the past but now it does absolutely nothing when I attempt to scan anything, and yes the barcode is in focus and readable by other apps with scanning abilities. FIX THIS. iPhone X user.

no search by genera

alonzwad

great app. quick and easy to add albums but wishes there was away to look by genera.

New to the app!

Love the app so far. Best app of this kind I have seen. Use it everyday. Far from perfect definitely could be more seamless and user friendly. Great place to purchase vinyl at fair prices and find more obscure titles. One annoying thing for me is no cart tab in the main menu. Keep improving and you will get a five from me. God Bless!
