Does exactly what is should

This is a great app that does just what it should. Make sure you sleep & then wake your phone in the dark to lower the brightness accordingly. If you set an alarm via the Apple clock app & buy a plastic business card holder for a dollar at your local office supply store you have a perfect alarm clock replacement for your night stand.

I was in the hospital for observation today & this app really helped. I bought it for when I have my baby in a month, as I remember it is frustrating to wake in the middle of the night in a new place, groggy, & not know the time. I was there for several hours & the room setup included equipment that completely blocked my the hosp wall clock. I was tired & wanted to easily see the time, without having to unlock my phone, etc. Just tapped the icon for this app that I had already purchased & presto, problem solved. It also is so classy looking and low key that it was not a distraction when doctors & the nurse came in to monitor me or to update me of my situation. The simple graphics were so easy to see from the hospital bed. Now I'm home & on a new meds where I have to take a pill at exactly 4:00 am every morning. I have my own bedside alarm clock, of course, but I set it ahead so as to not be late & with current heatwave I've got a mini fan in front of it that kind of blocks my view. So I used this app last night and PERFECT. It stayed on all night long (did not automatcally shut off or lock), used almost no battery power, display was so easy to read in the middle of the night. I also like that not only can you rotate your phone to landsape and it will display, but turning phone all 360 degrees it always orientates itself & displays time, even upside down. I like the choice of blue (among several options) for the display: it is not too bright, pretty, but still very easy too see in the dark. I love how this app is not bogged down with too many features, and how the graphics are simple and it look like a real digital clock. Every person who stays in hotels, every student in a new dorm, people who are moving to a new place, any public school teacher who has to deal with school clocks that sometimes freeze/break, and anyone who might be in the hospital overnight (every expectant mom) should have this app on their phone. It is very handy.

What a wonderful app! I have been using this for months. I hadn't thought to write a review until today. I use this app every night in landscape mode. Never again will I buy or use another digital clock. The flashing Hr/Min separator, landscape mode, and dim outlines for the numbers make this app wonderful. Yes, I've tried the competition. Tried them when I originally got this app, and tried them since. This is the one to buy. With iPhone's built-in alarm, I don't need an alarm here, though it'd be nice.

Add a day and date feature to it and it receives 5 stars. I use it everynight at my bedside as exactly what it is, a digital clock. It's one of iTunes perfect apps.

What about adding more features, like options for: - displaying the date - temp (from an online source) - random location on the screen - etc...

I bought this app some time ago and it was just what I needed but now after I upgraded to iOS4 it does not keep accurate time.
