Not Digging Digg

benhworth

I read the Digg website daily, so thought the app would be a good download. I was wrong! The app lets you click on stories to read & videos to watch, and when you are finished with that particular story or video, you can’t return to the Digg app. You have to close the entire app, then reopen it to pick the next story. Maddening. Digg developers, stop digging a hole for yourselves and make the app easier to navigate.

Hot Garbage

ChaosityTriumph

This App is hot garbage. Used to be great. Now it’s just terrible.

???

Dionte92

How do I exit out of an article without closing the entire app?? It didn’t use to be like this difficult.

Just a poorly designed app

cburg

App crashed for what seemed like a year. Opens now, but if you open a news story you can’t get back to home page without closing the app. Digg has really gone downhill over the years.

There’s no back button

ThatsFaisalNotFlenicia

Once you click an article you have to close and then reopen the app to get back to the news feed....

Good content. Unusable UI

MassMark0987

Digg does a nice job aggregating interesting news and content. But once you open anything, there is no way to go back to the feed. Can you add in a simple back-button??? Workaround is to close down the entire app and restart it. It’s been like this for at least a year. I give up and am deleting the app.

App is BROKEN

Apple User 997899

Digg- your app is broken. When the user goes into a web page, like a long read selection, or an add even, there is no way to get “back”. iOS has no back button, so this app basically gets stuck on whatever page you were reading. The only way to get back to home in the app? Kill it and relaunch. That’s not a good design.

Used to be good.

Super Honky

Digg has been one my favorite apps for finding out about random stuff, but the iOS version will never update the stories.

Use to be a solid 10

BeeMiester

The last month Digg has taken a hole slide to a solid 1. Doesn’t refresh any longer, and the adverts are nearly endless. I’ll give it another week, and if no improvement, adios!

I Like Digg But...
