Great content, and I really enjoy the desktop site. The mobile app is very buggy, and videos crash constantly! Please fix this issue and I will gladly update my rating. Update: The app seems to be back in fighting shape. Haven’t had a crash during video playback in a while. Thanks for the bug fix! Spoke too soon...... Constant crashes video rarely plays...9/8/18 2/15/19 Still crashing constantly, even on landing page. Cannot get through a single article without a crash 2/25/20 Digg, do you not employ a QA engineer to test the application before deploys?! No back button when reading an article, you have to close the app completely; then scroll back to the place where you left off. Why even have a mobile app? I’m sorry but after all these years you just aren’t improving. These are juvenile oversights.
There is no back button when drill into an article. Have to force close the app. When you start up again you are back to the top.
In 2020, this is just shockingly bad design. You literally have to close and re-launch the app to move to the next article of interest. The full website is good; the app is trash. It’s a shame. Digg never was truly great again after Kevin and Alex departed. But I still like it some. Perhaps it’s just casual nostalgia..who knows. Please fix the app..how’d this get through any QA effort ever?
Why doesn’t the app ever get real updates? At least an update to get it to finally work again... this used to be my go to app everyday. And it would be again if it actually started working again. Please fix!
For the last few days every time I open the app or open a news article I receive very annoying pop up adds! Even once is too often, but it happens far too often. Because there is no back button on digg I always have to close the app. Only to reopen it and receive another pop up. Remove the adds immediately please. Thank you digg!
Why do you guys have all the pop up ads. I like your website, why do you have to resort to such low brow advertising?
The app has a lot of potential, but every time I select an article I can't figure out how to get back to the digg feed when I'm done reading or skimming through it. Swiping, looking for a back button, I simply can't find any way to navigate back. So I close the app and reopen it and become more picky about what I choose to look at. Same goes for the digg shop. I accidentally navigated there and couldn't figure out how to get back to the feed. Please fix this. I've been backpedaling from Reddit and enjoying a little digg but the lack of navigation completely destroys the experience.
How can you not have a back button when you read an article? It’s been like this for years now. ?♂️
What happened to this app? Used to be a favorite. Can’t even swipe back anymore.
