I don't understand the negative reviews, I've been a subscriber for years and this is one of the best, most polished music apps; give it a shot for yourself!

Original review below. I was hoping to be able to raise my initial review. Still no iPad app or landscape view. To make things worse the live streaming is gone. I do not want individual tracks and start-from-beginning on tune-in. The tracks skip halfway through and another random one is chosen without warning--totally ruins the flow/vibe. Why are you wasting time begging for money (investments) instead of listening to feedback? Totally disgusted by this latest move. Give us the option to use "classic" steaming. I use this in my car with a dedicated iPad and a landscape mount. Most modern apps have landscape mode or an iPad version but DI lacks this. Been a listener since 2007 and a paying customer for years. If you can spend the time to rebrand to include your domain name, you can fix this problem. Low review is based only on this lack of feature. Otherwise great company and great music.
CS returns emails at least, but streaming is haphazard.

What's with your buffering problems?! CS did say there are server issues but was that just today or often? Because there is a buffering issue. You've gone from my favorite music app to the very bottom! Apps that spew ads that put out loud video and audio need to be banned from the App Store! You're becoming more and more worthless and I will never subscribe at this rate. Live DJ streams on YouTube are far better at this rate. This is not the same app I used to enjoy! Plus you STILL refuse to make a high-res iPad interface when everyone else has one! If just two more of my favorite DJs start livestreaming, you'll be dropped entirely!

DI.fm has been a staple for me since the days of WinAmp and iTunes Radio. I have been supportive of the company for a very long time and have shared it with many... Something happened in the past few months though... the app is horrible now, taking forever to connect or toggle to my Bluetooth devices (Pandora and Spotify both work without issue... I have subscriptions for all three...). I don’t want new features. I just want to open the app, press play, hear music on my headphones. That’s it. Basic. Why is this not stable as it was 6 months ago? I also do not like the way I am being spammed to donate money. I am a subscriber. I already give you money for a service. Please stop.

Decent stations, some good music to discover. The ads come up way too often. The music will randomly pause though. Not sit and buffer or anything, straight up pause as if I hit the pause button. It keeps playing dash by koan on chillout. That song is horrible

I've been listening to Digitally Imported for at least 5 years and have been a premium member for 3-4 years. I used to listen all the time while driving and I loved the app. That being said the app is horrible now. Music won't play in the background on my iPhone 7+ 10.1.1 and therefore I have to keep the app open if I want to tune in, which is inexcusable. Even when I do decide it's worth that hassle to listen streams seem to buffer a lot and glitch out which was never the case before. I told myself that when they updated the app these problems would be fixed and therefore I didn't see the need to cancel my premium membership... but I've been waiting for 6 months for an update now and there hasn't been one. So I've cancelled my membership. Not point in paying $8 a month for music you can't listen to. I'll keep an eye out for an update and I'm hopeful they'll fix the issues so I can subscribe again but for now steer clear of Digitally Imported's app. Will update if things change -------------------- Original 5/5 review from years ago that I had typed up but forgot to post... -------------------- It amazes me how many EDM fans I meet that don't know about DI.fm... pretty much the best thing to happen to my iPhone. Listened for a long time before subscribing but it was worth it to get the boost in sound quality. Bring back Scouse House channel though... :(.
No CarPlay

I have to drop a star for no CarPlay. I found if I start the app before I connect to the car I can control the app with Now Playing and that includes switching between favorites using the arrow buttons on the steering wheel. CarPlay support would be better though.
Still lacks CarPlay support!

It's now been 3 years since CarPlay was introduced, and they told me that they have no plans do so. Really???
