Great!

Winos Unite!

Very nice app, especially if you are "following" friends or they are "following" you. All can see what everyone is enjoying!

What’s up with the verification?

Me035

Tried to verify some wines and it’s not correct. Didn’t allow me to submit an expert review. What gives?!?!?

Ads, ads, ads

Corklady72

Non-stop ads since the Galloni takeover and no customer service (have written with questions several times with no response from Delectable). Trying to find a different way/app to catalogue wines and socialize with other wine enthusiasts.

Great app

Earlthefatbeagle

Super easy to use and fun to see what others are enjoying.

I love this app!

Kimberly-KS

It's really very handy to use when you're looking for a particular wine and what other people are saying about the wine that they are drinking and or collecting. I highly recommend this app. And I like the fact that when I go to a restaurant and order a bottle of wine it's nice to take a picture of the bottle add it to this Delectable app site so I know what to look for the next time I go to my favorite wine store.

Broken beyond recognition

Mapants

This used to be one of the best apps out there. Now it’s garbage. The pro reviews are now hidden behind a paywall, the interface is plastered with ads, and it’s defining feature, recognizing wins from the label, no longer works from your camera roll because the app now insists on cropping the photo for you, without any regard to where the label is.

Great app, but overboard with the ads

Knyrd

This app exceeded my expectations, but the ads are so annoying i’ve stopped using it as much as i used to

Ads

I’ve only used this app a handful of times. I was thinking of redownloading it as my wine friends are now looking into apps. This will not be one that I recommend. Pop up video ads really? I know apps need to make money thru advertising but the market is so saturated with ads in every single thing we do. I’m just going to disconnect from it all. But after I find a different wine app.

Pay to play

As of today Delectable now sports ads between user submissions and also pop ups when you attempt to add a wine. Next they will say, "Want to lose the ads, spend $x/mo." Antonio didn't mention that in his interview, only that for $5.99/mo you can get Vinous scores on Delectable wines as well. So now even if you didn't want them you will need to pay for them in order to keep the user interface ad free and enjoyable? Users built that app and made it what it is. Congratulations. Edit 11-15-17: Thanks for the reply, it’s a step in the right direction. The wine identification portion of the app deteriorated after the paywall rollout and I had to manually enter wine nearly 90% of the time. Last few have worked so hoping that was addressed as well. The timeline jumps to the next wine after I look at a wine within it and then close that individual wines window. Extremely annoying. Let me go back to where I was so I know I have not skipped by anything.
