I purchased Degoo and at first was happy enough. I had a MacBook Pro, so I downloaded the Mac app, along with the iPhone and iPad app. Everything was going smoothly and then Degoo started using a Web App. I’m not sure what the Web App is because it does not work. I can’t figure out how to upload through the Degoo website. My three original devices are listed, but there is no way to upload. The instructions online do not help because what is seen in the photos is not what happens online. I also got another computer to replace my original MBPro and now I don’t know how to add it as another device. I have contacted Degoo several times. The last time was back in December 2019, but there has been no response to my emails. Degoo will you please tell me how to use your service? I would like to know how to use the Web App on my MBPro.

I paid $49.95 last year for their storage plan. Yes, it stores. BUT how the heck do you delete photos you don’t want? How hard can it be to DELETE??? Also, if I go to where the photos are stored and want to show someone a picture, I may have to wait a half hour before it loads. Very weird and definitely not useful for anything other than pure storage. I do not recommend this product.

Worst user interface ever

The desktop browser app is basically non-functional. I get a 404 error when logging in. I bought it to back up a desktop and somehow most of the functionality is through the phone app, which makes no sense as my phone uses cloud storage anyway! Cancelled my premium plan, hoping for a refund.

Missing basic functionality

The most important functionality missing within Degoo for iOS is Search within Files. I have thousands of files uploaded and I need to be able to get to one quickly without spending 10 minutes scrolling through everything. Currently, Search is only present in Gallery. Next, there needs to be a Favorites section displaying only the files the user has favorited. Finally, media playback needs to be debugged; tapping on an audio file usually doesn't immediately play the audio, and tapping on a video file in the Gallery only opens an image. This app is a shadow of the already bare-bones desktop site; pretty much unusable in its current state. If it weren't for the large free storage space I would have easily given this app 1 star. Make some improvements like the above so I can raise the score a bit.

I would most definitely prefer some sort of an extension hard drive to my phone images, files etc that hugs my phone that I would love to save and have access to reside there and with all that said allowing me to free up space on my 64G iPhone Please consider this if this is feasible please let me know
