Good system

iPad for Daylite user

Good system. If I stayed in it all day it would work better! I tend to get into other apps or programs and get things done without notifying Daylite until the end of the day. It will be really nice if one day Daylite used the I calendar as in taking over instead of having a separate calendar. It can sync but then you have two separate alerts, etc. Task repeating would be another improvement.

Glad I found it

I've been working with Daylite for a number of months now, having shifted from a custom database software program I used for years, and I'm happier here. Took a little getting used to. Love the integration with Mail and the flexibility of the system to function as I like. Needs simplifying in a small number of areas, but highly recommend.

Worst customer service

Selling1

There are always issues with technology but successful companies provide good support. I have never taken the time to write a negative review before this, but I have to warn anyone in sales who might be considering investing the $300 it costs for this application. The application itself has incredible promise. It appears to have all the right features, but I struggled with getting an iPad and iPhone working for nearly two days. The company never answers the phone. In fairness, maybe this was a temporary situation but support was only available via e-mail and they were obviously in over their heads because after a dozen requests for screen shots, they stopped responding. I will be requesting my money back. What a shame and a huge waste of time.

Whaaatttt… no iOS 7???!

B. Prince

I'm highly surprised that this app doesn't support iOS 7. Please add iOS 7 support. Adding iOS 7 support will allow me to do simple things like click on a clients address and have the option to open it in Apple Maps for directions to my clients. When this happens I'll give 5- stars!

Excellent complement to the Mac CRM software

Mr Schwam

I have been using Daylite for about 3 years in my law practice. The program is among the best I have used. I appreciate the customization that I can do to suit my needs (even if I have only scratched the surface). The support is generally very responsive and the fellas at Marketcircle are fantastic, but Daylite is still very much an ongoing project. They are constantly adding new features and striving to make the program better with each update. Normally this might turn me off a newer program, but in this case, I have to say that Marketcircle seems committed to making the customer's experience the best it can be which is more than I can say for certain more 'established' companies. I highly recommend this program (obviously you have to buy the OS version) to anyone needing a good contact management program.

Perfect Companion to Daylite 4 Desktop App

I love the ability to sync on the go and use my iPhone or iMac.

Fairly Decent

Companion to Daylite on the Mac. Works well, but somethings are confusing.

Great possibilities. Horrible support!

The Pipe Doctor

I made the investment in Daylite 3 and Daylite Touch for my business. It worked pretty well. Then we had to upgrade (?) to Daylite 4. I used the term upgrade facetiously. I paid more and got less features! I tried so many times to get support but got only their version of support which includes getting back to you ONLY BY EMAIL! So if you have all day (sometimes more) to wait around for an email; you may be happy with this app. However if your business has to continue to operate without Daylite then just get something else!

Almost Great - still Better than most

Mac Medix

Daylite 4 is a huge step forward from Daylite 3, and hopefully you waited to upgrade until after first several messy updates. Daylite 4 has a much better feature list than iCal or Contacts, but the iOS version is not as featured as the Mac version of Daylite. For example to add a new appt in the iOS app you have to leave the calendar and go to the Daylite "home" screen because that is where the + Plus button is. Tap the +, and choose to add a new appt, mtg, or task. Title it, then tap the date to bring up the date picker where you can roll & spin to find the date (if you haven't already forgotten it). It would be so much better if you could tap & hold on the calendar to make an appt on the date you just tapped! ... You can not copy/paste an appointment to make more, but you can drag/drop it to move. Always wait before installing any Daylite updates, some you don't want to mess with. MarketCircle is pretty great on replying with email support, it just takes a day or 3.

There Is None Better!!!

Maxstar

I read the reviews of those who did not like this program. None of the negative reviews make any sense! This is Daylite 4. Those who are still using the old Daylite 3 need to upgrade to the new version. It's totally different. It's faster. Way faster. I'm currently using it to manage over 7,000 contacts. It keeps track of appointments, tasks, emails, opportunities, projects, etc. Here are some of the reasons I feel it stands alone as the best CRM on any platform: 1. It's a relational database that links contacts and companies. You can look up a company and see every contact that is employed there along with al sorts of independent information about each (notes, titles, emails, DOB, phones, etc). 2. It links with Apple Mail. All incoming and outgoing email for each contact is automatically linked and stored in each contact record. I can easily see all the communication that took place with each contact for as far back as I care to look. 3. It links appointments, tasks, projects and opportunities to each contact. I can see at a glance all parties evolved with every client and business opportunity in my database. That includes the roles, contributions and contact information for each. 4. Rather than dialing the phone for each contact, Daylite does it for me and inserts a note in the contact record of the call and details of the communication. 5. It syncs my Computer, iPad and iPhone so that the exact information and appoints are exactly the same on all platforms. And, it does it wirelessly. 6. It sends out single and bulk emails. 7. It creates custom merged letter templates. 8. It manages multiple users allowing you to remotely add appointments, tasks, new contacts, etc to team members calendars and contact lists. 9. It's extremely reliable and accurate. It doesn't crash or mix up contact information. I could keep going on for hours about this program. I have tried almost every product of its kind on the market. I can truly say there is no other product like it on the market today. But, this program is not cheap. But, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This program is not for kids! if you're just trying to keep track of a few things look elsewhere. The IOS versions are not made to run independently. You have to buy the Mac version. I have used this product for years. The earlier version did experience some growing pains. But Daylite version 4 is a real game changer. If you're using version 3 you will not like it at first. But once you get the hang of it you will never go back! UPDATE JULY 6, 2015 I don't know about you but I am always looking for a better mouse trap. And I have to say, that I still have not found anything better than Daylight. If you are using it with multiple persons connecting to a single database, you must install the server with an ethernet connection on a good Mac with static ip. Otherwise, I say this product is awesome! So far, I have not found anything that comes close.
