I am sorry I upgraded the desktop Daylite from ver.4.1 to 4.2-4.3 With version 4.2 of Daylite desktop, my contacts duplicated multiple copies. The iOS Daylite Appwould only Sync One way. Create an entry on the iPhone5, that entry would show up on Mac Daylite within seconds. Make edits on the iPhone, those changes would update on the Mac. Create an entry on the Mac Daylite or make changes to an existing entry, iOS Daylite would not receive updates. I rely on this for my business. After a string of email back forth with MarketCircle Tech, I feel as though I am participating in a huge Beta test program. I hope MarketCircle is reading this. I told you I refused to believe I was the only customer who after upgrading to Daylite iOS 4.3, experienced a Crash on startup. To be clear, if I delete the app, then re install it. Instead of connecting to my Daylite Server, I can browse and explore the sample database. The moment I install and connect to my database, it downloads and updates, then crashes. A dialog box appears and disappears so quickly you can't read it. I did manage to take a iPhone screen shot and emailed it to MarketCircle. So far only word I have heard is crickets. Anyone got Daylite server 4.3 and Daylite 4.3iPhone app to work? Please share your experience.

Unfortunately I can't rate how well the app works, because it crashes every time I open it. Very frustrating.

There is a glaring glitch. The iOS version will not download more than 60 days in arrears on the calendar even when the Mac that is syncs with goes back much further. This is a problem when traveling. Also, the app is very slow & occasionally needs to be re-loaded which then cuts off all calendar to 60 days in arrears from the new downloaded date. The lag time to open the app can be a critical problem when time is of the essence. Daylite is a great Mac program but the app is weak.

Daylite combines all of the aspects of calendaring, contacts, emails, tasks, projects and opportunities. This makes Daylite very much different than the other more single-purpose apps you might try. So if what you want is full coordination of all these data sets, Daylite is for you.

As a PC - ACT for windows convert, I will say that it was a bit of a letdown to go to Daylite, particularly from the IOS perspective. Daylite for the MAC is functional and appears to have only a few flaws. Daylite for IOS, and its interaction with the desktop version is another story. Information does not reliably or accurately transfer from the desktop to IPad and IPhone. i.e. you can have 100 emails in Daylite for MAC and only a half dozen will show up on your IOS devices. This is an ongoing problem, and one they are currently working on at the time of this review. If you remain in the office, it is from my perspective the best for the MAC. If you work in the field, however, just be aware that your IOS information may not be complete.

Absolutely love it! I have been using Daylite and the mobile apps for several years and really enjoy how it works with and helps my business as an independent sales rep. The only real improvement I would recommend is the ability to sort data on the mobile programs. Beyond that, I am a real fan of Daylite.

Over all this is a good app. There are still some minor details where Act out performs, but they aren't deal breakers. I've come to the conclusion it's more Mac vs Windows anyway. Specifically I'm talking about notes, history and calendars. Notes and history attach too generally, but are available at the contact and company level. Calendar events do not have any indication that they've been completed. Act offers a strike through or grey out option for completed appointments and events.

Excellent application and database! I use it all of the time to stay organized. My only issue is with the IOS version, DL Touch, which is buggy. Daylite Touch does not open on my iPhone when I need it most! DL on my MacBook Pro is nothing short of the best organizational tool on the market! Buy it.
