Nice with limitations

I can’t figure out if there’s a way to print journals with 2 or more photos per page, if I only have 1 photo per entry. It’s printing one photo per page which is not a god use of space nor a cool layout (basically no layout). Also, wish there was a way to share and add or invite editors to a journal. For example so that my husband and I can both enjoy and contribute and get notifications to update to the same journal about our life together as first time parents to our son.

I love this diary. It is so easy to journal and add pictures during the day. I like how it syncs over all my devices. Jay keeps getting better.

I am enjoying this app . The best is being able to practice using it ?before my trip ...I definitely will end up with a book, as I will be traveling to Italy. Keeping my memories always .
Fabulous, better if Apple Pencil worked

I’ve used Day One for a few years. It is great for capturing ideas and experiences. It would be excellent if it allowed handwriting. I’m very used to using Apple Pencil in many other apps and find it frustrating to not be able to use it with Day One. I hope you work on this. If not, I may keep looking for another journaling app.

I’ve been using this app for years, and it’s wonderful! I wish they would perfect he printing of the books to include the commentary with the photo it belongs to, as well as auto adjust photos so it so much wasted space. Also wish there was a desktop option! The app itself is phenomenal!
A request to address a potentially wonderful idea

I sure wish this app would give me the option to have previous entries from previous years pop up each day. For example, today is July 18. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could (in my settings) have the app notify me, or email me my July 18 entry for last year and/or for other previous years? I know a journal can and will benefit my posterity, but what good is a journal to ME if I never read my entries again?

A lifetime app

Never really thougt that journaling was somehting I would stick to but it was something I wanted to give a shot. I tried alot of different methods, paper, electronic notes, different apps, etc. and was not able to stick with any of them and it ended up falling to the wayside. I finally came across the DayOne app about a month and a half ago, downloaded it and instantly fell in love. I think I ended up being a “free member” for all of 2 days before I decided I could see myself using this daily. Month and a half in so far and I have loved every minute of it. Its become a daily routine writing in the morning and evening, purging events that happened, adding photos, concert / movie tickets, things I want to remember etc. Look forward to using the app for even longer and being able to see my “on this day” notifications come alive, Keep up the great work!
