A request to address a potentially wonderful idea – Day One Journal: Private Diary Review

I sure wish this app would give me the option to have previous entries from previous years pop up each day. For example, today is July 18. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could (in my settings) have the app notify me, or email me my July 18 entry for last year and/or for other previous years? I know a journal can and will benefit my posterity, but what good is a journal to ME if I never read my entries again?
