I downloaded this and then opened it. I tried to click on my albums to edit a picture, and it didn't do anything at all. I closed the app and reopened it, restarted my iPod, deleted it and redownloaded it, but it still won't do anything. I don't know what's wrong.
I tried using this in low light, bright light, indoors, & outdoors. No significant difference from just taking ordinary photos with the iPhone's camera. No special tools or anything to make it different or special at all.
I don't know how this works for darkness but it definitely helps with making pictures less blurry. It's free, so that earn it 5 stars.
It takes a long time to save a pic but otherwise this camera app is great. People who rate this app a 2 stars or lower doesn't understand about clear images and blurry images
Darkroom does fix the problem of blurry pics, but dark pics seemed more pixelated than a similar picture taken with the preinstalled camera app. I've had better luck with another app, so I'm planning on deleting this one - I'm glad it was free!
I'm really, really happy with this app. Tried it on a whim (and because it's free), and it takes perfect pictures every time. I took a picture on a moving train, and while it took a while to actually get the picture, it only had to take it once. With the built-in camera app, I would have had to delete the blurry picture, take it again, etc. (I suppose I could just keep taking pictures repeatedly and delete later, but you run the risk that all of the shots turn out blurry). This app saves me a huge amount of time, which is great for when you're taking pictures in random places and don't have a lot of time to mess around with the camera app. Again, every photo is perfect, it deals with shakiness elegantly, and I trust it. If it could do video, I'd remove the built-in camera app entirely (well, if you could remove built-in apps). Minor things I'd like improved: • An animation after saving the photo to show that the photo was saved successfully (something like what the built-in camera app does would be nice). I know there's a screen that says 'saving', but without the animation, you don't know if there was an error or not. • I'd really like to be able to delete photos while in Darkroom. Right now, you've got to quit and open the Photos app. Thanks for making such an excellent camera app, and for making it free!
