I get that free apps are ad-supported. That's not a problem. The problem is that steeply ads jam up the app and I couldn't even save the (nice) picture I took to the camera roll. The best I have is a screenshot of the jammed screen and I'll have to crop out a steeply ad from the low-res screenshot. I'll never upgrade if the free version does this.

The app works nice on the iPhone 3G, considering that it lacks a way to adjust the camera focus. Very good for taking pictures on low light conditions, you don't need a steady hand to avoid a blury photo because of its software stabilizer. The down side is that it takes about 6-8 seconds to save a photo on iPhone 3G, very slow compared to the native iOS camera app.

This used to be one of my favorite camera apps. But now I have an iPhone 4S. Darkroom still takes pictures, but crashes when you try to save the picture, so it's worthless until it gets an update. Please fix it!

It doesn't work with the 4S. App crashes right after the shutter animation and the pic doesn't get exported to the camera roll. This app used to be great, please fix!

It just doesn't work since I upgraded to iOS 5. Don't try to take pictures with this. You won't be able to save them.

I'm sure the idea is there, but it just crashes like a useless app. Btw I have a 4s.

It really used to be a great app in the past. The new version for 5.0 doesn't crash anymore but doesn't let me choose the focus and use the front camera... Very very disappointed.
