Will try this app in the morning.... But have to say the lay out is VERY nice and sitting in bedroom with great gps signal. Will write another review in morning.
I recently tried this app together with my wife, and I must say that it resulted as a disappointment. It did not record the trail that we actually took, meaning that it also gave an inaccurate distance for our route. If you want an app simply to record something unimportant, or simple, then this is the app for you, but if you want something accurate, don't waste your time.
Great layout and features but it doesn't record map accurately when screen turns off which is disappointing because I had to tap the screen every few moments to keep it on. Spent my bikeride one handed which was awkward. Hopefully that is fixed soon. I'd buy if it worked as advertised. In a second.
I started it before my ride & at the end, the only thing accurate was the timer. I rode 15 miles & it showed about 5. It also didn't record my route. I'll try once more & if it doesn't work, I'm deleting it & going back to my trusty faithful & ALWAYS accurate Gamin GPS!!
Tried it out once and it said I had gone 2 miles when my bike computer had recorded 35! Also it did not show anything to the map... So maybe these apps just don't work once you go outside cell service? Not gonna work for anyone who rides in the country like me. I'll give it one more chance..
Have had the Lite version for about a month and the GPS has nnneverrr worked! The only thing that works correctly is the timer! ??? Will NOT buy the pay version.
This is probably one of the better bike gps apps out there. I've used it a few times and it has more pros than cons. I dig the interface. The only gripe I have is that does not accurately measure altitude in my climbs which in turn skews the calorie counter. Other than that it works great.
