New version update is crashing even after update

SagarRao

New version update is crashing even after updating the fix sent today. Also the passcode disable is not working. It still asks for passcode after disabling it.

New Update Deleted My Writing

The newest update fixed the instant crashing, but also deleted all of my previous saved prompts.

my writing is gone?

maybe it's the new update, and this could be the issue that you're talking about fixing, but my stories are gone

All my files are gone

Everything was fine until I updated the app and it erased all my saved files. I wrote the ending to my series plus other writing I did while on the road. Everything is gone. Since when does updates erase saved files?

Simple, straightforward, and very useful!

I love this app. It lets me quickly get in, write, hit two buttons to copy the text, and go and paste it elsewhere (to my journal app Day One). Simple, excellent app with such a straightforward use that it's totally deserves a five star!

A Good Idea But Lacks Follow-Through

I was really excited for this app. While it did get me writing consistently for about two weeks, a glitch caused the app to crash and I lost all of my work. An update was released that fixed the crashing issue, but when I tried to contact support to see if I could get my lost files back, I received no response. This was a few months ago. Thankfully, I backed up my files; otherwise, I would’ve been out of luck. I expected more from this app, particularly because I paid for it. Overall, it’s fine for small things, but I wouldn’t trust it for big projects because I lost some of my work.

I Enjoy This App

I can see where it may be useful for writers block but the random suggestions it throws out is also a great way to get your brain moving and creating in general, plus, it's fun and at times informative and amusing when you reread the stuff you come up with. When you have a random prompt, in my opinion it gets your brain moving and sometimes totally off topic but, if have other projects to write since they are on your mind sometimes, you come up with the starting or the main idea you can rework at a later date and most of the work is already complete except for touch ups and making applicable to the topic, whatever it may be. I don’t use it to journal but those that may have a hard time getting their feelings out may find it useful as well.

I love this app. Here's why I gave it 1 star

An update was released a few months ago. That update added a really stupid and inconvenient tagging and filtering system that just makes it harder to find stuff u just wrote. But not only that, the update erased EVERYTHING I had ever done in prompts for like the past year. Literally everything was gone. I contacted prompts support and got no response. Months later I tried to contact them again, and each time I pressed the email Button the app would crash. Better customer service and support and also, find a way to retrieve all my notes.

Fun

At not home

Makes you think which this world needs a lot more of.
