So far, I am really liking this idea! At first I didn't know how to save, but I have since found out. I find I like what I've been writing as a result of these "prompts". So I will want to save several or most of them and look back as more inspiration. Thank you!

This is great for writing my morning pages on those mornings when my mind is being lazy. Knowing that I'm gonna have some REALLY quirky and off-the-wall ideas makes me excited looking forward to writing. A great spark!

Prompts is a great tool for writers of all stripes. Whether you are a beginner, amateur or professional the app works you to keep you consistent and steady in applying yourself to write whether by daily reminders you set or keywords that can help you kickstart an idea. The app's design is about as basic as you can get which is good since there are no visual distractions which will impede your productivity. The clear white layout is the canvas to explore your writings. Features of the app can be accessed by the top menu which includes statistics on your progress as well as customization for font size, timed reminders and more advanced settings. The app also allows you to share your writings with other applications you may use such as Twitter, Facebook or Evernote.

dates messed up

after the new update, the dates aren't correct anymore on any of the entries. it says all of mine are from two days ago, when really, there's some i made almost a year ago. please fix this, i want my entries to have the correct dates

This app is great for breaking though writers block and kickstarting your writing sessions. I only wish it had more options for exporting your entries, like to Word or cloud services. It's nice to have your entries on something other than a phone.

I used to be a huge fan of this app. Except that the act of scrolling and editing leads me to keep accidentally erasing some of my best work. Once gone, it can't be recovered. It doesn't prompt you with the typical 'are you sure you want to delete this?'. It just does it. I've gone back in to edit several times only to find the piece to be missing. It's frustrating because when you get something right, you can't just rewrite it from memory. As far as it automatically saving, it doesn't save outside of the app. So if you have scrolling fingers like me, beware.

I was waiting for a app that let me throw all of my ideas on digital paper. It's very useful when you don't have a notebook around you, just to create stories, poetry, ideas, and etc. Plus it tracks the amount of words you write, usage of app, set a goal for word count, and little bit extra. I just wish more features are added (but not much to complain).
