Every time I’ve needed footage from the app it’s failed. Customer support continues to “look into it” but it never gets fixed. Weird things keep happening like settings magically changing. My doorbell camera only detects people at my door sometimes. I’ll have packages delivered but for some reason the camera never recorded it.
Response time is too slow

My notifications for events are showing long after the event took place. I just received a notification at 4:56am for something that took place at 7:38pm last night . Not good
The App is garbage. Don’t waste your money

I’ve had CPI for almost four years and I’m cancelling and going to Ring. The app never works, it never loads and I can’t ever arm my house. The website either. It’s slow constantly has to be restarted. Don’t get CPI. GO TO RING.
facial recognition

About 3 months ago I noticed when opening the app the facial recognition wasn’t appearing.Just straight to wherever I left off; ie;checking cameras, turning on system.Does’nt happpen all the time, but enough to where I think it should be investigated.I don’t have a problem with any of my other apps and facial recognition.

The recordings of your video will not be available for you to view on a daily basis. Someone came to the door this morning and when I went back to look at the video, there are only videos for the month of September and it is now December. Another important video where someone ran over our light pole on the property, that video did not show up either. It’s reasons like these that we need a camera and they are not useful to us when we need them to be. Now we are stuck in a 3 year contract for our home to be unprotected and no proof to show the cops anything. I’m definitely switching to a better system as soon as our contract is up. Do Not Waist your money!!
Bugs when arming

Recently it takes 4-5 times of trying to arm through the app for it to take. My husband’s app is doing the same thing. It used not to do this but would arm instantly after one tap. Please fix.

The service is great but the app is awful. It ALWAYS freezes and takes forever to load! It’s best to go trough the website to view your cameras.

My app doesn’t always work on my phone so now I cannot disarm my alarm on my phone. If I go downstairs to the keypad it will set the alarm off and wake up the entire house. :(
