Slow

Jackgouk

It could be a really good game however it is so slow as to make it not fun. It is everything an old board gamer would want. It just takes too long. 2 hours for 13 turns of a 180ish turn game. If they update then buy, if not then you will be frustrated.

Great game, both history and easy playing

fdugrad

Turns take time, but the historical pics are great. I finished it 4 times so far it's worth the 20$. Would like to see an update or add on..

Pretty good

Niltrok

When I first saw that Commander the Great War was released for iPad I was thrilled! Finally a ww1 strategy game that almost anything goes! After spending the $20 ( which I was a bit skeptical about) I soon learned it was worth it. A brilliant game with only two complaints, no undo button which would help since I'm on the iPad and May lowering AI difficulty I'm playing on handicapped and stilling getting slaughtered. Other then that I say well done!

Way too easy

Terrible :(

By 1916, I had driven the Germans back to the gates of Berlin, too easy in my opinion.

Fun at first now tedious and bugged

Swing80s

I bout this game on day 1. If you don't follow the crowd and play the Central Powers you were screwed with bugs from the beginning. And now the game crashes whenever I go to single player. It would be a fun game to play if they fixed it. Or you can buy the game on CPU if you're willing to pay double the price of this...

Great War Game

GMS46

Just finished the campaign. The game was challenging and fun. Yes there are some UI issues, such a lack of an undo button that can be frustrating. But then again unintended things happen in war as well. There were some reviews regarding an crashes and slowdown during the enemy phase. These have been fixed any I have not had any crashes ever since. All buyers should keep in mind that this is some what of an old school war game. Don't blame it for being such. But it's a must have for war gamers and is great start for new comers.

Do not buy this game.

The Acadian Kid

On the easiest setting my troops would inflict no more that -2 damage to the enemy (rarely would that happen) while them enemy was often inflicting -1 to -4 damage on me. This game is simply not worth it. Please do not waste your money.

Could use some changes

Benito2244

The game is good in many sense however it is annoying that you have to play as every power on your side. It would be nice if the makers made it so you can choose one country to play as. Also some added on diplomacy choices so as the two sides can try to get other countries to join their side of the war, and make peace.

Great game

Bruce Wesley

I've always been a Great War enthusiast and this game does not disappoint. I can't say enough good things about the new update as well.

Four out of five

Java2264!

I love the new update and really appreciate the new update. I really like the new historical things. But, it'd be really cool if you include the Basra landing in 1914. May you also make games like this, such as in the civil war and WW2. You kind of have the map for WW2 for European part of the war. You only have to change borders, technologies, and diplomacy.
