Cool idea, TERRIBLE function

Found this app and thought it would be a fun pastime. I enjoy coloring books to relax, but adult coloring books, especially superhero ones, often have too much black shading to be worth it. The Marvel book itself is cute and has unique pages. This app though? Not worth the code it’s written with. Scanning feature doesn’t recognize the page unless it’s just so, and it wants the camera to be held completely still for 5-10 seconds. Apparently, things like breathing constitute camera movement. I can’t get any of the images to scan in the app, it takes at least 5 tries. If the scanner does manage to pick up the colored character (and not the blank page next to it!) what appears in 3D form is not the character I’ve colored, but some disturbing Frankenstein version where colors aren’t where they should be, and for some reason half the 3D model isn’t even colored. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this app for kids. The coloring book is a good time, but unless you want to play around with disturbing zombie versions of favorite characters, don’t bother with the app.

I just bought and printed new pages from the original app. I am however wondering why Skylanders Superchargers is listed in my saved stuff but isn’t available to purchase

I can't even get to the app because of WiFi and l can't get wifi at my house.so l guess l'll let this app be a useless and wasteful app.???I REALLY DON'T LIKE THIS APP.

Had a problem with the app and wrote to Crayola via their website. The nicest woman called the next day to troubleshoot the issue. Amazing customer service!

After ages to install 80 components it couldn't scan the selected artwork. Waste of time.
I have a very disappointed 4 yr old.

Thanks, Crayola, for discontinuing the original app without including support for legacy coloring books. My son spent days coloring a page. He did a better and more thorough job than ever before. His creativity was fueled by anticipation and excitement as he looked forward to seeing his creation come to life in your app, only to have his hopes dashed when we download the 2.0 app and it doesn't support the coloring book he has. And the old app is not available on the app store. Very uncool.
