Somewhat useful

Kiddos'Mom

The map feature of this app was useful, and our family used it several times during our stay during the week of Independence Day. Although this seems like the perfect place to note schedule changes and up-to-date holiday happenings, be advised that CW does not do so. We missed going to a desired restaurant because the app said it would be closed until another day, but when we walked by later that same day, we found it was open to the public. The app would have been the perfect place to note this. They don’t necessarily update other things either. For example, the app noted this about the Post Office: “Thinking of sending home a postcard? Scribe your thoughts in ink with a quill pen for an authentic 18th-century look and feel.” I told my kids all about this, and they were set to write with a quill. When we arrived, the person there said that they no longer do that (and stopped quite a while ago). The app wasn’t updated. We were disappointed and felt frustrated that CW advertises the app but doesn’t really keep it updated. Over a month later, the incorrect information about the postcards still comes up in the app. Bottom line...use the map and maybe look at other things for reference, but don’t count on the app to be accurate.

Weak functionality

I was expecting to be able to link my annual pass to this account and reserve/book tickets to events in the colonial area. This does not seem possible. All I see is the same info available on the website & brochures. Moreover a phone is so small that you’re better off with a paper map.

Broken

It’s been a year since the app was last updated and it shows! The app is not comparable with the iPhone 6S software and crashes each time I open it. This wouldn’t be such an issue if the app weren’t touted on CW’s social media platforms but you shouldn’t advertise a tool that doesn’t work... disappointed

Crashes

Ripster414

Downloaded this app to purchase my tickets prior to going on vacation and every time I try to use anything but the map the app crashes.

Don’t Bother

Don’t buy tickets through the app, you still have to stand in the long, slow-moving line, and it doesn’t save you any time.

Wouldn’t Even Let Me Make an Account

Gigfran

I tried to make an account after going to the CW website, but it kept freezing up before I could even get it sone. I tried 4 times.

Horrible app

Fralaxis

Don’t bother download this app, their map is useless and it has nothing to do with reality, doesn’t allow you to specify a start and end point

Junk don’t bother

fernandina

It was very hard to register login, finally was able to use my wife’s Facebook Purchased apps easy enough, but turns out you still have to wait in the will call line to get real tickets, and the QR code is just for show it’s a lengthy process of where the look up your purchase in a horribly slow computer system Only printed 5 of 6 tickets purchased then blew another 30 minutes sorting that out at the help desk It’s colonial period attraction just remain in period and pay cash , will move much faster in the door

Great idea, poor execution

App never got beyond “view ware”. Booking something like a carriage ride didn’t work. “Events” offered a poor comparison to printed sheet offered at visitors center.
