What we need
Its a nice app, lots of programming languages. The only downside however is I still haven't figured out how to use the input. I assume it has something to do with the tab that says "Input(stdin)" but alas, thou hath not figured it out yet. If anyone could explain how this app works twould be great.

Imports won't work from outside the Java packages. Scanners don't work at all.

It's great that it has syntax highlighting but it doesn't give you a choice of the extension to save to. Also there's no code hinting. What would make it worth while is if it also included GIT support and the features I mentioned before. Also maybe an FTP option so you're not confined to DropBox. I give this two stars because it's missing some core features that any editor for programming/scripting should always have.

public static void main (String[] args) throws java.lang.Exception { Scanner kb = new Scanner(System.in); String you = kb.nextLine(); String betterImprovements = "yes"; System.out.println("Please continue improving the program?"); if (!(betterImprovements.equals(you))) { System.out.println("Please?"); } else { System.out.println("Thank you."); } } }

The creators of this application should add batch as a language in code to go. People can do some really amazing things with batch.

The editor is awful, and some of that is definitely my iPhone's fault. But it is painful to write code this way. Cannot easily remove a single line, I had to go 3 levels deep into the keyboard to find a > sign! Very frustrating for certain languages. Great selection of languages though. You need an Internet connection to compile anything. Also undo typing doesn't work as there are no line numbers.

I bought this for $2.99 to takes on vacation to write a little C code as I work through a book. This app is great for writing small amounts of code when you're away from a computer. It's nothing you want to do serious development on, but if you're trying to write a full-featured app on a mobile device you need to get your head examined. The 'Save to Dropbox' feature is a nice way to easily get what you've written back when you're back on a computer.
