Cin

David Eberle

Cin is super necessary bro. It doesn't have it, and it needs it. How am I gonna cheat in math without cin? Edit the code everytime I want a diff value? What am I, a caveman? But otherwise pretty flyyy.

Amazing.

appuser000

This is an awesome app! Also, to reviewers below me: you CAN support input, you just have to supply user input ahead of time, by selecting the "Input (stdin)" tab. And Java classes have to be named either "Main" or not be marked public, unfortunately!

Very good

Jakimbo14

This app is very well done, lots of languages to choose from. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do some light coding on the go

Almost perfect!

This is a great app but one simple function that you need is the ability to type in an input during the running process. Almost there!

Fantastic

Anton1572

I personally had a great experience with the app (although requiring Internet connection was sometimes annoying but nevertheless I had it most of the time.) Very easy to write small snippets of code on the fly and test them. However, I sometimes feel that the ten shortcut keys aren't enough, perhaps because I do C++ with lots of low level operations. It would be great to expand the existing short cut amount to say, 15 or 20.

OK for absolute beginners

Hellow27

For $3 it's pretty good, definitely the best on the App Store, but C# and java (and assumingly all other object oriented languages) are quite useless without classes, and something like Intelitype would be nice as well(forgetting to capitalize the L in WriteLine is pretty annoying at times. Very good for beginners or maybe for just command line-esqe programming languages, but for anything even moderate it simply doesn't work.

Doesn't support Java 7. Deleting lines is hard. Oddly made application (read below).

Steven Hicken

Java 7 is the language I wanted to use most with this. Ideone supports it but this one doesn't. I have a program with a bunch of lines and it took me several minutes to delete each line. That was annoying. Lastly, the application should open to some sort of overview of your code instead of a list of languages to work with. It's subjective but the UI is really not good. This application seems to do what it advertises but nothing more and in an inelegant way. I will raise the number of stars if these issues are addressed. One for each issue solved. This app has a lot of potential but it seems like a beta release. Some things are just off

Needs User Input

ADAM594

It's great that you have the highlighting done and that we can compile simple code but I can't use this at all because I can't allow the user to input any data. Please try to get user input implemented into this app. If you do that, this could be the best programming related app out there for iDevices.

Good but...

AndreeU

I suggest inputting a CSS section for HTML etc. or input a way to link an HTML JAVASCRIPT AND CSS all together. Would make this app better .

Good for either simple or GUI programs, but...

KennyStrawn177

... Unfortunately, I'm having quite a bit of trouble trying to read arguments from the command line (the stdin tab doesn't do much help either). If there could be an option to compile (but not run) and an integrated (but sandboxed) bash shell within the app to run command line programs, it would be greatly appreciated.
