Glossy, worthless interface

The new version has pretty picture and beautiful fades but if you want to look up a product or article, it’s worthless. You are allowed to see only the articles and products selected. Searching is not worth the effort.

Horrible. Diagonal line? Couldn't think of another way to waste screen space?! And let’s not forget to waste battery too with white backgrounds. What time is it? I don’t know. Let me kill the CNET app to see (you can’t see the time in the app). The old app handled videos much better, to say the least. But, I digress, or regress,.. wait, NO, it’s You CNET that has regressed! It’s a horrible app, considering the size and power (and the freakin industry it covers!!!) of the company from which it comes. Horrible. Yea, it’s almost July 2018, and this app is still pathetic. Not hating. It just really is so terrible. It was much better years ago. The reasons above are the tip of the iceberg. Hope CNET is making tons of money from the ad revenue. And why do you want people to read videos? Narrate then so we can pay attention to what is in the picture, or not, and listen while we do something else. At least my review is making a difference. Oh wait, it’s not : |

Way too much advertising interference and very annoying. Getting to the point where I’m going to delete the app. Plus I hate the new format. Why ruin a good thing.

Nearly useless in many categories. Not seeing any real value. A unitasker serving old articles and ads. Just go to the website.
Loud commercials! Don’t think of using in office

This app is total crap. First the layout is horrible. Then! Then! When you go into an article there is a commercial with volume on! Forget about discreetly browsing news articles. No we gotta above pure commercial content in your face and let everyone know. Deleting this horribly designed app.

I feel like they have got away from consumer reviews and just push items on us from their parent companies or they get kickbacks from. Also, you aren't a car magazine so stop with the car stuff already.
