You don't do anything but learn about Star Wars characters. It's good if you want to learn about Star Wars but not for entertainment.

The app is very informative (I decided to make a sentinel), and I love the companion information, but I think it would be very helpful if they had the special ability for each species (like say that the Mirialians have a rest and recuperation ability).

Provides exactly the information it tells you it does. I originally got it to make an informed decision on which classes to choose to play as, but I kept it for a reference on the companions.
