Please fix the Crashing

A great game to play, you can max your th9 in 1.5 years using no gems. However, with the latest update, the game will load, and looks like its about to go in, but then crashes. Please fix this. Another thing, please don't try to turn clash of clans into clash royale, the new troops are fine, but the chat is so confusing, you never know if you say something as one sentence or a really long paragraph, and i keep thinking the top is the latest chat. I know people will get used to it in a while but clash of clans is fun because of the way it is now. idk, im basically rambling but pretty fun game... if it didn't crash :/
Poison spells? Really?

Ok so I love clash of clans, but the resent updates are so bad. Now enemy troops now run away from the ring created by poison spells. I lost so many battles because of this update. I know it's to balance the gameplay, but it ruins it for the rest of attackers. Please change it back.

Make sure you update fast so that friendly battles can be played with clan mates.

I believe when the Herod are being upgraded, we should still be able to use them in raids and wars. Just make them available at the last finished upgraded level. That would mean more raids, more wars and more fun.
No way to advance unless you buy gems...

I'll admit that towards the beginning it is a fun game but once you get to be a high level with a max level town hall you can't advance after that unless you constantly buy shields which cost an absurd amount of gems. The reason you can't advance is because once you have a Max level town hall people can steal about 20 percent of everything you own which makes it impossible to replenish. Plus the people attacking you as you enter the crystal league are all 50 levels higher than you...is that fair?

I would have given this game 4-5 stars if I could actually continue logging in and playing. On both my iPad mini 2 and my iPhone 6s (with current iOS), I am perma stuck on the loading screen. Nothing has worked to get back in (deleting/reloading, logging out and in from gamecenter, etc), and I've only been playing the game for ONE day! Talk about turning off your players. Devs, can you fix this????

Still just as great if not greater than it was back in the day, it's taken me a while to get back into the swing of things with all the changes over the last year or so but they are great changes! I really still appreciate this game and am back to slaying rival clans in the wars! Great way to kill a couple minutes of your day, after a few upgrades you have to wait awhile. But it's really fun and you don't have to devote your life to it!
