Really fun game but

I love this game but the gems are very expensive to buy and anything that you need to pay for with gems are too much and the time of upgrading things is outrageous really 2 days to upgrade the town hall and 42 gems if you want it finished but otherwise it's a fun game
Still one of the best games out there

Clash of Clans goes down as by far one of the best games ever created. It practically reinvented a new form of RTS that makes the other spin-offs look pathetic. It is incredibly fun to play and is a great game to devote time to. I have been playing this for over 2 years and dont see an end in sight. But, I have been seeing a few hate reviews about stuff that is just flat out ridiculous. Here are a few. - "Pay to win" : Yes, this game is a pay to win, but who cares about being the number 1? Why not be in an extremely awesome clan that wins wars? Your not going to end up as the number one player in the world, but the startegy and fun of the game doesnt require a leaderboard based environment. (Plus, you can earn all the in game money you need in the game over time) - "My game keeps crashing/wont update" : Get over it! Its life! It happens with every app sometime. Give the creators some slack just because your device happens to be glitched. - "Farming is Dead!" : The 2015 Fall update caused massive uproar in the community, but it certainly did not kill farming. It killed TH sniping. TH sniping is the practice of forfeiting a battle to gain a free shield and lose minimal resources. This requires very little skill and makes the game a daily chore more than a challenge. Removing this made many players quit because they thought they could not farm anymore. Farming (the practice of lowering trophies to preserve loot) still works fine. You just have to move your TH inside and drop some trophies. You could also just attack other players for loot, which works fine as well. - "Add gold/elixir sharing" : This would break the game entirely. Top level players would allow lower players to pretty much max out without them doing anything. Supercell would loose a massive amount of profit from gems and they wouldn't be able to keep bringing us awesome new updates. - "Someone kicked everyone in my clan" : Other players are out there and you are garunteed to find jerks and noobs who seek nothing but your misery. However, in General, the average player is only looking for some fun and a great time with your clan. (Plus you can just kick or mute them anyways) - "The new Air Defenses/Walls/Sounds/GUI are ugly!" : Changing the aesthetics of a game often angers the nostalgic long term players. They always ask why the changes were even necessary when they just got some shiny new troops and defenses. These changes are actually in place for lower lvl TH 1-8 players, who likely did not get anything that changed their gameplay at all. Therefore, Supercell adds these small textures and sounds to keep the low lvls entertained while not messing up the very stable balanced gameplay that occurs at lower lvls. - "Make troops survive, like in Boom Beach" : Boom Beach has been specially balanced for this, and the addition of this feature in Clash of Clans would, once more, loose a lot of revenue. Plus, the rebalancing required would be absolutely enormous. - "Add player search" : This would create nightmare publicity for Supercell, just like with social media sights, it would become a center for stalking. I dont see this ever being a feature. - "The new Clash Royale troops are too cartoonish and are just cross-promotion" : I do agree that the new troops need a re-designing to recieve the respect they deserve, but they are certainly not copies of Royale troops. The baby dragon and miner have incredibly unique attack mechanics not seen in Clash Royale (I do play Royale by the way). This makes them very interesting additions to the game and allows for more complicated late game strategies. - "Dragons are too OP" : This is very true for Town hall 7 and air remains a top attack strategy at Town Hall 10/11. However, if you use your air sweepers and air defenses right with a few tricky builders huts and air traps, you can defend from air just the same as land. Also, note that GoWiPe, GoHo, and GoWiWi are just as powerful. they are just used less. - "Make gems cheaper" : Gems (the in game money) are expensive, yes. But, if they were cheaper, the top players would still buy the same amount, and Supercell would loose revenue. Sure this would reach into the lower level players markets, but such a change would be an extremely risky business decision, not a game developement one. - "Clan wars are too hard!" : I'm going to admit, as a leader, I do think the leaders of clans get screwed with the loads of work they put in and the sometimes terrible results they get from war, but if you hate being a leader, give up. Don't be like me and keep wasting your life, go be a member, it will be much more fun. - "Matchmaking is broken!" : No it isnt. A high level player raids a lower level player (I am TH 9 by the way, so I know what I am saying) and gets loot that is not even enough to retrain their troops. If high level people are raiding you and taking all your loot, then know they are getting nothing for it, not even very many trophies. This doesnt happen often, so either 1. Fix up your defense design. 2. Raid others for loot. 3. Get online at least once a day to harvest your collectors and prevent looting. or 4. Farm even lower level inactive players for loot. This is the system of the game! It is a challenge and is not for the player that only wants a minute of play every other day. That is all I have to say about just why some of these comments make no sense. I hope this clears up some of the things you have been angry about or are frustrated with Supercell over. Just know in the end, that it is an amazing game! Dont leave hate reviews over such a little topic. They are detrimental to a company and a community. Have some mercy clashers! Stop complaining when you have in your hands the single greatest app in history! 197 characters left!

Clash of Clans is an amazing game! You can compete with other players, at both attacker and defender! You can upgrade your defenses and barracks to create a strong and powerful army. I would not recommend this lovely game to girly girls, though! Lol

I used to like this game a lot but I couldn't keep up with the updates. They added too much stuff for me to comprehend.
Ideas for builder huts!!

Can u please add a upgrading feature for builder huts? It won't do anything special if upgrade it, it just increases the hit points! If you do this, I will love you forever SPC!!!

Great game, my suggestion however is that you have the option if you want your clan castle troops to defend your village while being attacked. That way, when you request troops that you're saving for something, like a clan war, and you don't have a good shield, you don't have to re-request to get the troops that were used in a defense that you were trying to avoid

At first about 3 years ago I played this and I thought It was the stupidest game ever because you had to wait so long but now it's so addicting.
