Great App

snodpill

Great App to have on iPhone or iPad when traveling, especially international Can download maps and tourist destinations so they can be used offline.

Excellent stand alone maps

Schwitters

I don't have a data plan so this app is more useful in many situations than Apple or Google map apps. Also in many circumstances it has better walking path info.

Excellent

Great app. Maps are esp great for cities like Paris or Amsterdam that have list of tiny streets not on other maps!

Got me around Rome

JTofVT

With Rome's warren of streets I wanted maps for my iPad and phone and this is the one I chose. I downloaded the map, marked my hotel, nearby restaurants I wanted to check out and attractions. I didn't need a connection since the map is on the device. With location turned on, it showed me where I was and where I should have turned to get to that restaurant on the little side street. I used it recently in Ottawa and it was just as useful. Although Ottawa is much easier to get around. Highly recommended for travelers

Great App!!!

Nameless TAC

There's a slight learning curve... but still great!

Still on my short list of indispensible travel apps

scidoc666

I love this app for international travel. The map has details that are essential when travelling and not on a network. I'd found it useful for hiking trails in both Sardinia and Vermont. Just need to remember to download the map BEFORE you need it, and you get a city map wherever you travel. The pro versions with shared lists makes it easy to plan with my partner.

Used in many Cities Worldwide.

I continue to use MTG in cities around the world. I'm still amazed that it keeps up with me. I wish it would leave a trail.

Data theft!

hsoarez

Quite the case of data theft. Users be aware! Apple should have caught this malicious code. I was pushed to move from the two apparently identical versions of the app ("new" coming with a free offer of "premium", for features I already had). I bit puzzled, but nagged by the "discontinued version" messages, I gave in. Imagine my grief to find that on the "new" version I am logged in with my facebook account and, even worse, that the app threatens to wipe out all my data if I choose to log out. I am very displeased. I never told the app to log in with my facebook account.
