All the time this app locks me out for work. It’s terrible & I have encouraged our employer to get rid of this Cisco junk. On iPhone 7 Plus it does not work good at all.

This version and others do not notify you with a sound when new chats are received. I have checked settings in app and notifications in settings but no sound.

App will no longer connect over at&t LTE only works over WiFi. Makes the app completely useless.

Phone Services doesn’t connect on T-Mobile’s networks (LTE or 4G). Every now and then an update to the app will occur and it will connect, but you can be sure that within a couple weeks it will fail again. Cisco blames T-Mobile any time I’ve had a support case open with them, T-Mobile doesn’t find anything wrong either. No other apps, Cisco or otherwise, have issues. I’ve about given up on the Jabber app except for checking voicemails since our company doesn’t allow for instant messaging.

It appears that the app is incapable of being refreshed as a background app even though I have the setting turned on, so I will not receive calls if the app is not in the foreground. All my coworkers have androids and have no problems.

I’ve noticed that ~25% of the time when I receive calls, I can see the call coming in on my desktop however the Jabber app does not ring. This leaves me scrambling to send a message to the call caller and then calling them back after they had left me a voicemail.

The problem is, once you leave the app and try to come back it takes 5-10 minutes for it to reconnect. And, that’s not always successful. You lose the chat you were notified about, only to see it at a later time when a reconnection is successful.

The app is good for instant messaging but when I “sign out”, it doesn’t really sign out. It’ll say I’m signed out on my iPhone 8 Plus but It shows me as available and online and I still get instant messages and notifications from my colleagues, even on my days off from work. ? This needs to be addressed.
