Chord Tutor is intended to help musicians of any ability but especially beginners, to improve chord playing in an interesting and fun way.
Chord Tutor uses chord detection technology developed for our Chord Detector App to tell you how accurately you played each chord. The App rates your accuracy and speed for each chord, giving you a 3 star rating.
Select "Chord Practice" from the Chord Tutor welcome screen and after a five second countdown you will be presented with a chord, you then have 10 seconds to play the chord on your instrument. The App listens to what you play and once the time is up will rate you on how quickly and accurately you played the chord.
The full version of Chord Tutor includes the following features:-
• 48 Major, Minor, Major7 and Minor7 chords to practice divided into 3 difficulty levels.

The lite app gives the major chords, all but B, and is very good for learners and experienced guitarists alike.

the idea behind is great. it crashes after 3-4 chords are being played. also it will be great if I can select which chords to practice. I learn the chords in different order than this app is giving them to me, so if I can select only certain chords will be really helpful.

I just downloaded the app, and the tutorial won't load. Instead, it takes me right to the screen where I'm supposed to start playing. Hard to do if I haven't learned anything, yet! Very disappointed.

Great aid in helping achieve the proper sound of a chord. It's not bias, if you mute the wrong strings or fret something wrong it will let you know.
