Awesome game

Love the game. Impressive amount of plot. Heroes is my favorite story, can’t wait til it’s finished! There’s is a continuity error I saw in Herodes: Soldier calls the Empire by name despite not learning it ppreviously, to my knowledge. I believe it’s in Arc 5, or thereabouts. Other than that, pretty solid, keep up the good work.

I’ve played through most of the stories on this app multiple times. They really hold a special place in my heart, and I’m always excited to see the new updates to the stories.

Loved it -And the Sun went Out

Great story. Very old school “choices.” Reminds me of the computer game Tom Hanks character invented in “Big.” A little tedious watching ads for tickets. But I grew up on commercial television. Buying tickets is inexpensive, if you prefer.

Amazing

I’ve only just finished the first story but it honestly took me hours and hours of constant reading and I couldn’t put my phone down. This was amazing and well written and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was like a never ending cliff hanger. I’m so happy that the app provided a way to get constant tickets instead of having to wait a couple hours every time. If they did that it would have ruined the entire experience. Thankfully they didn’t. This was so incredible I’m writing a review. I never do that.

Missing out if you don’t read this story

I’ve never would have thought that this would have been such an unbelievably amazing story. I was entranced, and the whole idea and storyline itself was just amazing. I wish it could continue on longer... I was expecting a cheap, weird or just very short little story but WOW... it felt like I was reading a VERY well written novel. Amazing. Totally blew me out of the water. Don’t do yourself an injustice by not reading “And the Sun Went Out”... WOW, what a treat!!

Okay if you like Disney movies.

To make things clear, I actually enjoyed ‘And the Sun Went Out’ And I have found endings to all three stories. It was a neat story and interesting to read through. However (disclaimer) my opinion is a bit influenced by another similar series called LIFELINE I played through years ago and quite liked. I didn’t particularly like that each protagonist is invulnerable. I feel like that eliminates a lot of risk that goes into a thinking process and detracts from the actual decision making. In addition... I found myself saying ‘that’s a stretch’ more often than I would like. For example... a high speed chase resulting in the protagonist’s vehicle careening into a pole would probably not leave everyone inside unharmed. The stories had a touch of extravagance and unlikelihood that some may enjoy but I personally do not. It worked better in ‘And Their Souls Were Eaten,’ though. It fit the fantasy theme. I thought the characters in ‘And The Sun Went Out’ were great. I actually cared about whom I chose to do what with and trying to keep everyone reasonably safe. In addition, at the end of that story in particular, it seemed like to an extent the choices I had made prior actually mattered to the ending. Not the case with the others. I like that the all of the stories try to be globally inclusive of cultures, PC, etc... but it seemed a little forced. By biggest hang up with the whole app is that I have to rewind an entire ARC to get different choices. LIFELINE had a feature wherein if one finished a storyline, they could go back and change a choice at will to discover alternate endings and paths. I would love to find some different endings, but I do not care for making thirty choices over again only to change the thirty-first to no avail. (Spoilers below) Did the writers just give up on ‘And Their Heroes Were Lost?’ Doesn’t matter what I do when the Norse legend shows up, the story ends. Imprisoned for nearly an entire adventure and just when things get interesting, ‘the end.’

Awesome app! Well written stories!

This is one of the first reviews I have written for an app, which should tell you how great I think it is. The story is so intriguing (I am currently reading ‘and the sun went out!) and the characters are so interesting. They are all brought to life in their own personal and unique ways. The simple interface is something I prefer, it is very similar to reading a classic book, rather than the way most CYOA games are formatted now. You never have to pay for certain choices which is very much appreciated, because that can ruin the story sometimes. The app is very generous with providing free tickets, and because of this I would easily consider purchasing tickets or a story pass to support the app. Good job!

Intriguing and Mysterious

Ruby (The zombie)

this app is great, as far as i know. i’ve only had it for a few, but the stories are amazing. i wish there were more stories, but the ones available now are quite intriguing! a little creepy, occasionally, but overall... very nice. and... you are free to not spend any money, which is pretty swag itself. very underrated app with great stories.

Absolutely fantastic!

I usually don’t do reviews, but this deserves one for sure! I can’t explain how exciting the whole thing was. I just finished, and was so relieved to see I got the good ending! This storytelling game was so much fun! It kept me on the edge of my seat. The only complaint I have is that for every choice you make, it requires a ticket. Luckily, There are ads for you to watch, and get more. Kudos to the developers, and writers! You’ve made something beautiful!
