so many ads

this would’ve been so interesting, but my god there’s so many ads on this. it’s ridiculously difficult to get into a story when you’re seeing an ad for Rescue the King or whatever.

unenjoyable because there’s a 10 second ad every 10 seconds. absolutely ridiculous. too bad cuz the came seemed interesting.

I just started and the story is yeet. I just hope there would be less ads. There’s literally one every 30 seconds and that is very infuriating.

I remember playing this years ago before the ads got so bad. I loved it and got so engrossed in the story. But now I can’t go 2 minutes without having an ad blow up in my face. It’s a shame too, I recall this game being amazing.

1 minute in I get an ad… not a problem I’ve deleted apps for less intrusive ad spots but this seems fun. 2 minutes in 2nd ad… no longer fun but I’ll stick with it for now but I’ll probably never open this again. Ad 3 within 5 minutes of opening the app. One star. Dev you need to put a stop to this.

Amazing to poor

I loved this app. The first story And the Sun went out was amazing. Great writing and I felt like my choices really mattered. I think around chapter 7 the writing started to get really bad, and the choices became inconsequential to the story. People showed up that acted like they new me but since I made the choice not to go where they lived I never met them before. The writing would act like someone said something to me but I never had that conversation and again, the writing just turned really bland and repetitive and uninteresting. Almost seemingly completely random. The writers clearly changed and I wanted an ending. But it’s just non stop nonsense with no respect to my choices. How the story changed so rapidly is beyond me. Prob greedy and also wouldn’t pay the writer.

Idk if it’s just me but when I tap the game it shows me the logo and then blinks out of existence. Literally can’t play it. Maybe this is only on my phone but still disapointing.

The Story’s Good but the Ads are Intrusive

I’ve played for about 5 minutes. The story’s really interesting and the interface is fantastic. Only one issue, the ads. I understand every free game must have ads, that’s not what bothers me. In the five minutes I’ve played, I’ve gotten 4 or 5 ads. Full screen ads which take about 15 seconds each. Fine theoretically, but the frequency of these ads is extremely obtrusive to the story and ruins any tension or atmosphere that it would otherwise have. If you can tolerate immersion-breaking ads almost every time you make a choice, I’d recommend it. Otherwise, it’s a definite pass.

About a year ago I used this app daily & loved the stories, but now I can’t even read for 30 seconds without an ad popping up. It’s not enjoyable anymore. Why so many ads all of a sudden?
