It’s short, funny, and full of good writing. There’s a certain style of the writer where he’s able to get you attached to these characters in so little time. I was genuinely proud of Ptolemy IV turning out a great leader, and Gold definitely has an affinity for stories about mentorship, parental figures, etc. Well done!

This is a really intelligent and moving story, and it’s exciting while also thought provoking. It makes you realize your life matters and that you should make good choices. I’m really impressed and definitely glad I bought this. It was well worth.

At the moment, though I have only gotten through the first chapter, this story seems to be great and well put together and I eagerly look forward to reading more. Though there does seem to be some disappointment that this story cannot be read for free, I honestly cannot see any issue with that. It is not unreasonable to expect payment for a story, there are plenty of free stories out there and there is no reason to rate a story poorly on the basis of it not being free. At the moment, I look forward to reading more and seeing where this goes. Hopefully, there will be other reasonable readers that understand that it takes a lot time and skill to craft an original story, and it's not wrong to charge money for a service.
Good, But Stats Screen Meeds Changing

Kevin Gold has repeated his success with CoR in another stellar novella. I have nothing but praise for the story itself; however, the titles for stats screen sections need to be shrunken so that all the stats can be seen at once, as in CoR. Besides that, everything is excellent.

This was very well done, The story was very well written and I enjoyed it greatly. The only complaint I have is the ending was a little bit rushed however you cannot ask too much for two dollars. It really does have a great replay value since there are many outcomes to the game. I cannot believe that someone rated it one star just because the author wanted payment for his work.
