This is a great app. It is a public service. My Chinese friends remark on my good accent. I liked in earlier addition of this app better because conversation was included in the app. However this remains an outstanding app. Well done and thank you.

This app is very concise and explains concepts well. It’s also got a ton of content ever since the last major update. It keeps track of your progress for motivation but doesn’t obsessively notify you like Duolingo. I love it!

The audio doesn’t work. It does not make any sound when I try to hear the word! Therefore I am just randomly pressing what I think is right. Please help.

I wish that all language apps were modeled like this one. This one actually shows you how to structure sentences. Duolingo is decent but use this app for learning Chinese.

Best Chinese App out there

This app has been amazing. First, as an intermediate learner, I’m looking for an app with a lot of resources. This app has tons of resources that I can use. I can play a tone game and it can help me learn the vocabulary needed to pass the HSK test. I have used soooooooooo many others and nothing has compared to this app. I have recommended to most of my friends that are starting to learn Chinese. I appreciate that the free version has so much to offer. I try to practice 10 mins a days so that I can keep my vocabulary fresh and not forget it. Thank you to the developers for making this app an app that wants people to truly learn a language and provide more than enough resources in the free version to establish a great foundation.

I haven't used the app in a while and upon updating noticed there's apparently a subscription now. There used to be a statement in the app saying it would be completely free forever. Very disappointing as this was my favorite app for learning Chinese. Emphasis on "was"

As a Linguaphile, and successful Language learner/polyglot (Fluent Spanish English, conversational French and Arabic), the method utilized in this app leads you through the successful building of beginner Vocabulary and essential grammar for CEFR level A1 and 2. I use this in conjunction with Duolingo (Free) and Busuu (paid), however this is the most comprehensive and best of all free for level HSK level 1. Developer should include pronunciation guide tips for actual spoken Chinese, such as successive falling tones i.e. 不是 bùshì the first falling tone changes to a rising tone （búshì), and how to handle successive third tones, eg. wǒ yě hěn hǎo 我也很好、 etc.
