Great for adult learning a new language

I know English and Spanish and am now learning mandarin with this app. I am almost 30 and so learning a new language is not as easy as it was when I was in high school. I like this app because it uses different teaching styles to cater to variable learning needs. For example, it uses video (a new feature), symbols, audio, and recall as well as recognition. You can switch settings to see only pinyin or pinyin+ characters. There are games as well that you can play if on a time crunch. I took a break from the app for a few months and upon coming back I’ve found I remember almost everything needing only a few refreshers- A true testament to the effectiveness of their teaching strategies! Love it and will continue to learn mandarin using this app only!
Add male voice

Add an option for male voice instead of the automatic female guidance voice. It would help me to understand the accent

I personally think It could teach some of the words first. Especially for people who have no experience. Just putting the pictures there may be off putting to some if they don’t know the culture that well or at all. I do love the app it is easy so use and great with helping me learn! If I could rate half more of a star i would give it a 4.5/5 stars!

If you want to learn Chinese quick and easy get this app. Some apps only teach you how to say it or how to how to write it etc, but this app it’s gives you all of its how to say it, write it, what it means! This is a five star because all of this!

I’ve trekked a couple different apps but this one is definitely the best for just learning the language. Its super easy and the incorporation of the kanji is really helpful. Especially since a lot of the features you don’t have to pay for I definitely recommend ?
