This is an extremely convenient account, but I strongly suggest never having any serious money with this bank. If you ever have an unauthorized transaction or fraud you’re in serious trouble because the chime employees and customer service have absolutely no idea what’s going on and are completely unqualified. I’m not someone who writes review but I felt the need to right because if someone with a victim of fraud on there chime account and they relied on that money for food or shelter they would be living on the street.

Very thorough app. Easy to navigate .. offers at the bottom helped me boost my credit score 55 points this month alone. I’m telling everyone I know about it

First, some institutions and vendors such as brokerages do not recognize Chime accounts to move money. Second, cost to deposit cash is too high. I paid 10% fee to deposit cash at Dollar Tree. Chime removed mobile deposit from my account and flagged my account as high risk to a consumer reporting agency, without explanation why. I now have to distribute the issue with a third party, and Chime will not answer my inquiries or communicate with me. I sent a chat message that was never responded too.
