Well worth the money to avoid the ads. Good app that works well with Facebook

Without the ability to make an en passant move – a basic chess move – this game fails miserably. There was a brief window where they DID allow this move, but removed it. No idea what their excuse would be. Not worth the money, since it's not a complete chess game.

We need to have chat conversations transcend games. If an opponent and I have a conversation, it should be on every game we play together, not lost in past games. So often someone will say something after a checkmate and I have to go back to the previous game and search for what they said and look for what game it was. It should also allow me to always be one color, or allow me to stay one color when possible. Gets confusing when playing several games -- oh yeah, I'm white on this one.

This latest version has a bug with iPhone 6s. The games under "Your Play" would constantly resync and move to and from the "Their Move" section. The "cancel" and "submit" buttons won't stay on the screen, rending the app unusable.

App is way too old for 2016. Keyboard is very old, only has few settings. Also, android has a much better version, and the beta versions on TestFlight look great, please release a much needed update!

Could be better. Need to be able to see record versus each opponent. Can be buggy on occasion.

Why can't the iPhone see people's profiles??? People are always telling me about my profile and who I've played and I can't ever see the same thing that they speak of and it would be nice to be able to choose my game son who has a better record instead of just at random. People are always sending me game invites due to my good win loss ratios and I would like to pick people that may be a bit better then what the game randomly picks for me.

Great Social Chess app... Couple small requests

I've tried many chess apps, but this one poses best. I have played this app for about 3 yrs now... it is the easiest to connect and play against closer friends, thx to FB. I got a bunch of people hooked. Couple special requests from a die hard chess player and dedicated Chess W Friends patron: -More Customization for boards and pieces -Allow to save a couple games for replay purposes -Having a "friends" list aside from FB would be great -Please allow this to be compatible w Apple Watch, Words w Friends is compatible and I'm sure this wouldn't be much different

I like playing chess though I am not that good at it. Thankfully the people are play with are nearly as bad as I am! The interface of this game is decent but I would like it much better if there were a 3D option!
