Automatically ended game in draw

I had a clear advantage and was going to win. Opponent only had king and one rook. I had 2 rooks and a few pawns. I hadn't accepted his offer of a draw earlier because I wanted to finish the game. Totally lame that the app ended the match in a draw at that point.

Was it the Android version only or do I just not know how to look at my statistics against other players, rankings, etc? I thought paying for the full version it would. Otherwise the apps works great...just needs a refreshed look, and maybe themes. I'd like to see our $10 go to something.

...it lacks the the frills, and overall robust quality that chess.com's app affords its players for free. To add insult to injury, the $9.99 price tag to remove the overwhelmingly obnoxious, hijack-your-phone-for-5-to-10-seconds-every-time-you-make-a-frickin-move ads is an over-the-top excessive rip-off. I loathe that my friends have insisted to use this app rather than chess.com's; and after much frustration, succumbed to the ransom that Zynga Inc. has levied in order to not be held hostage by its ads. Otherwise, it's fantastic! ?

Simply not worth it

I've played this app for years now and the reason they try to force you to buy is to over load you with apps after every single move you make. It's a terrible marketing strategy and should not be catered to. This app has no other features that literally every other chess app does, such as: free live play, different chess pieces and boards, live tutoring and other puzzles that help improve your game. I only play this app because it's the only one my brother downloaded and it's the only way I can play with him. Trust me, if you want a better chess app, check out chess.com app or literally any other app.

There's an all new, super-improved Chess with Friends. Fine. I don't mind progress. Except they insist on ads (I paid for the old app and the new apps wants $10 for no ads?!) and it harasses the user to sign in with Facebook even though I've already used the email sign-in. NO. Get it through your heads, Zynga. I. WILL. NOT. SIGN. IN. WITH. MY FACEBOOK. ACCOUNT. Would it surprise you to learn that some people don't want to have a Facebook account? So I'll just go back to the old app, right? Nope. The old app demands that the user switch to the new app with no ability to dismiss. I can fail out the app and it will sometimes let me play on. But other times it will offer the "option" to use the new or the old. This is unacceptable. I will not be nagged every time I open the app. If you're going to be a jerk about this then I will not stick around. Both apps are deleted. Goodbye and good riddance.
